I sat watching in awe as the lovely gypsy danced, entrancing most of the royal court, including myself. She was a mysterious beauty, weaving a spell. I longed to be like her, moving and dancing with a grace I had never seen before.
I saw Rando from the corner of my eye and I turned to watch him in his antics. A smile quirked my lips as I watched him. His antics were truly humourous, and my eyes danced with merriment as I watched him. He was a handsome man and he had a carefree soul that called to me. I sighed, my chin once again supported by my hand, my medallion absently twirled by my fingers.
I could feel the king watching me before his eyes returned to the dancer. How is one supposed to feel about attention from the king?
