Magic in Words (Closed)

She tensed when the horse began moving faster but soon relaxed as the scenery opened up and they began following the old trails that felt so familiar to her though she had never been on them before. She leaned back a little against his chest and smiled holding on as best she could as they rode along

I like this... relaxing even though I am not on the ground and have never ridden a horse before.
 
He smiled as she leaned back into him, enjoying the leisurely ride. As the reach the forest, he slowed the mare to a canter.

"This was the route I took into the forest, i think," he said. "I'd sneak away some evenings after an argument with my father, just wander the paths. After I met you, I'd sneak away every night that I could, just to be with you."
 
She smiled listening.

I know... They would watch for you... Her... my people make sure that you were not followed and if you were that whoever was following you would find the wrong trail and guide them back to the house so they just suspected that you went for a walk in the woods.
 
Alexandru smiled. "Your people became very accepting of me over the seasons we spent together." His smile waned. "I wish I could find them, or at least their descendants. I miss the dances, and the merriment your people had to offer."
 
Times have really changed there are not so many that travel the old ways. They have moved more to the modern worlds and learned new ways to honor their heritage.

She sighed looking around with a soft smile.

I remember so much of this place but have not ever been here really in this lifetime... its a little weird.
 
Alex smiled. "I guess that means we'll have to make our own memories, then."

He led the horse into a clearing. Wide and spacious, the clearing hadn't been visited in centuries, so thick was the undergrowth.

"This is it..." he whispered, bringing the horse to a stop. "This was where they camped."
 
She nodded.

Lets walk around. I want to remember more but I can't from up here. It just looks so different.

Snuggling back against him she smiled
