Graham Platner’s statement on his decision to leave the race is despicable.

Platner blames others for having to leave the race…

Such a MAGAt move…

I swear Platner was a MAGAt plant (a Maine-churian candidate) who was designed to simultaneously discredit the DSA and the Democratic Party…

🤔 😳 😑 🤬

We. Told. Them. So.

Maine voters in your party chose him as the Democratic candidate for US Senate. Full stop.

Under false pretenses…

👎

Meanwhile:

Graham Platner always struck me as a closet MAGAt / MAGAt adjacent. And I have consistently pointed out: When it comes to certain negative characteristics, there isn’t a single degree of separation between DSA candidates (of the quality that Platner turned out to be) and the MAGAt republicans.

AIPAC could not under any circumstances permit Graham Platner to win a seat in the United States Senate.

If only the Democrats of Maine had done what AIPAC and the Maine Democratic Senate leadership wanted them to do, vote for "Israel friendly" Janet Mills, this whole unpleasantness could have been avoided.

Unfortunately for Israel, Gen-Z voters turned out in record numbers to vote for Platner.
He ran on a platform of stopping military aid to genocidal Israel, a theme that reverberated strongly with Gen-Z voters, who were sickened that the United States was supplying the cluster bombs and white phosphorus that Israel was gleefully employing to "liquidate" any and all Muslims they encountered in their Jew-had to "purify" the Middle East of anyone who wasn't Jewish.

AIPAC thought they had things under control when they sent a New York Times reporter, who just happened to have been a recent "AIPAC College Journalist" of the year, to first interview Platner's ex-gf, under the guise of "tell us what its like to love someone with PTSD"...this turned in to the notorious first NYT hit job on Platner. Gen-Z recognized it for what it was and ignorned it.

Platner won the primary.

AIPAC had to pull the Jewish equivalent of a "Hail Mary" pass. They searched high and low for someone....anyone....willing to say that they had been sexually assaulted by Platner. Maybe he did. Maybe he didn't. The point is, AIPAC timed the "bombshell" release of the story perfectly, and now the sclerotic Maine Democratic establishment will likely pick some rando who has been deemed acceptable by the Israeli government.

No matter who prevails in November in Maine now, Collins or some rando Democrat, Israel will continue to receive munitions it so desperately needs to scour the Middle East, while democratic politicians will retain the cash largesse they've come to depend on from AIPAC.

Democrats just replaced a duly elected candidate who 156,000 people voted for

The same thing they did with Joe Biden

The party of “democracy”

Nerve(s) struck…

Side note:

Interesting that Platner was NOT vetted… at all… apparently…

There were warning signs but people wanted to believe they had come across a rare political messiah.

The funniest part is he was trying to beat Susan Collins who even Trump hates. Not like he was trying to take out Tommy Tuberville.

Just so we’re clear: Some of us on this board opposed Graham Platner way back when and supported Maine Governor Janet Mills for that nomination.

We saw the warning signs.

Once Platner won the nomination, resignation set in: The voters in Maine had spoken. Meanwhile, Platner’s service in the military, his contrition for past comments & behavior, and his covering of his skull tattoo made him marginally acceptable - and then the very credible rape allegation surfaced…

😳 😑 🤬

Seeing leftists seethe literally puts years on my life. When Hasan Piker tells his followers the Mossad had nothing to do with this and they call him a Jew, I mean, man, that was like money in the bank.
