The special election is on trend. The Dems now have the more fanatically voting base, while the majority of the population notices special elections after they happen. The district looks likely to immediately flip back. If it stays blue, then whatever, it's still Florida.
Maybe it's because the postal votes were discounted and people like Trump who don't bother voting in person are the issue.
