I don't want to live the rest of my life stressing over how bills are going to get paid. I don't want to live like this. I resent him so much for getting us in this situation. He says he loves me, but it doesn't feel like it. It rarely feels like it because I am always anxious and worried that I will die from stress before I can retire and enjoy life. Any inheritance I get will go to debt, so I won't be able to use it to enjoy life either. Even if we divorce, I still keep half the debt. And my family would give all the "I told you so"s. Either way I'm screwed and don't see a way out. I know I can't depend on him.

Divorce and declaring bankruptcy are not the worst things that can happen to you. Literally millions of women have done it and come out happy on the otherside.

A really famous woman once said,”Do now what you’ll have wished you had done five years from now.” Totally blanking on her name.

A couple days later I took a look at the debts and two of the largest three will be paid off in 2.5 years. After that everything will be much easier. I wish I hadn't married a man child 8 years ago!
