Maryland is for lovers?

In MD weekly. Usually stay in the Arundel Mills area but do traverse the state. Would love to get to know some folks to pass the boring hotel life. Looking forward to getting to know you all!

Missed this...hope you weren't in a hurry for an answer.

I really like the climate of the northwest, from my time in the Navy being stationed in Scotland. Then there are parts of Arizona and New Mexico that really appeal to me. I dunno...

I'm retired, but my mother is here in Maryland and alone. Everything I know, all the people I know and all the things I've grown familiar with are here, but the politics here are making me nuts. The city is imploding and the city council just yesterday has found it important to bring a suit against the president over the border/caravan issue. Uh, how does that help the city?

Sorry, I'm probably dragging politics into this nice thread, but I've grown to hate it here, politics and the summer humidity is brutal, but I don't know anything else and no SO to make a move to another state tolerable. Mom won't live forever, so we'll see if I have any adventure left in my bones when I'm an orphan.

Politicians are difficult to understand. Priorities are askew.
There are many wonderful neighborhoods and attractions in Baltimore...but too many distractions.

I'm with both you gentlemen. Maryland's been home most of my life -- and it certainly hasn't been terrible -- but I'm looking forward to eventual retirement and a change of venue. Where that will be, don't know for now. For time being, making the best of what we have here -- and not to further introduce politics into this, but very glad we re-elected Gov. Hogan.

I'm gonna take too much NyQuil, crawl under a big pile of blankets, and sleep off this sinus infection. See you all on Monday.

Little bit of Whiskey in a hot tea with lemon and honey. (Rosemary steam bath also helps loosen up mucus which may help too) Hope you feel better!
 
I've been posting at Lit off and on for almost 16 years under a couple of Usernames and don't think I've ever seen this much activity on this thread. Great to see some other MD peeps having fun together.

So we have Baltimore City and County, Carrol County, Frederick County, and PG County so far. Did I miss anyone?
