Well, I survived my first week in MD! I didn't have much excitement though. Yesterday I went to Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis. It was really pretty.

Went to Gunpowder Falls today. It was chilly. But gorgeous!

Glad that you're still with us. LOL.
Annapolis and the Gunpowder...2 very scenic places to visit.
The Gunpowder is long and has many secluded spots that are gorgeous where you could spend an entire day just lounging in nature.
When the weather warms up things become much more enjoyable.

Where should one go to meet nice people in the Baltimore/Glen Burnie area? Some place reasonably priced or free... I did a couple parks last weekend solo but I need to meet people!

Depends what you're looking for. Are you interested in simply socializing and meeting people or something more adulterous.
I'm not familiar with Glen Burnie but there are numerous bars and clubs in Fells Point and Federal Hill.
Pick up a copy on the City Paper...numerous places advertise there.

i've been in glen burnie a number of times, there's not a lot there for singles.
chances are, whatever you're into (art, food, music, etc) is in baltimore or its immediate suburbs.
walk around the area btwn inner harbor and little italy, there's a lot to see & do there

There once was a similar group in Baltimore but they mysteriously vanished.
