And yes my little love muffin there IS a race this weekend! Darlington!!! Wahoo...and my own Jeff Gordon is starting in the 5th position out of 43 starters!

Well, we do need to plan something...how about you tell us when you'll be all better and able to play, and we can go from there. Roman and I were thinking we'd just have to make plans and go, even if it's just a couple people...otherwise we'll never get to flesh each other out...so to speak!

ok...good luck...I've had sinus surgery myself...my beautiful baby boy broke my nose when he was about 8 months old or so...several years later I required surgery!
I'll spare you the details...it won't help to hear about it...just do everything the Doc says and you'll be fine!

GRRRRRR...Okay dammit...I'm home from the vet and 195.00 later, it appears Simon isn't well enough to have his balls chopped off...See I knew his whoring was gonna catch up with him! Has Upper Respitory thingy going on, not to mention he is dehyderated and just plain tired. Sooooo now we have to get him well and then the nuts go! I have to lock him in my bedroom to keep him from running out again. You know, why the hell is it more expensive to take an animal to the Doctor then to go yourself? Gave him amoxcillian...something like that costs maybe 10.00 for me or you...Damn 25.00 for this cat??? I mean WTF?? its the same damn stuff??
Okay, I'm taking a deep breath...I'll stop muttering to myself...but dammit, that was "ME" money...pedicure, manicure, girlie stuff like that...

There, there...I know...I once dropped over $1200.00 to try to keep a cat alive...all my little kitties get their nuts off as soon as they're old enough. This little baby had a problem which prevented him from peeing...almost died twice...so they finally cut the winkie off altogether and gave him a girlie opening!
He lived a few more years...his kidneys had been damaged, so it was tough...my first baby kitty...I love him to this day!!!

Deb...are you laughing as hard as me right now picturing all the men on this thread cringing and holding their nuts while reading this??? I'm laughing so hard I can hardly type...oh damn...I'm crying now, I'm laughing so hard! Does that hurt guys???

Sorry for the money you had to spend though...but to me the little boogers are worth it...

Happy Saturday Everyone

I see most everyone is here today.... smiles... that is great. I've been caught up in real life issues today, laughsss.... but you know what... at least I was up and about today... that is really something for me. Most Saturdays I am sleeping in like till noon time and after, but today up and adam like at 8am....

I had to take my wife's car to the shop to get it tuned up. Grrrrr.. it has been sitting in our driveway for most of the winter not even running. Now I have to get it going,,,, my wife is going back to work.

Then I had chores for the rest of the day. Ohhh yess,,, had to go to the grocery store, then go back and pick up the car. Of course laundry was waiting to be done, and house work.

I did get a little nap this afternoon though.... sat down on the couch for a little bit,,, and feel asleep...

But I say if we're going to do this, we just need a date, time & place when there's a reasonable expectation that SOMEONE will show up...any no-shows will be able catch the next Lit-together (and there WILL be one, won't there?).

FeistyFiestaRed, I'm sorry about those cat bills, too, but pets are almost as special as children. I hope he gets well enough to have his operation. Hello, to all the other Free Staters on the block! I watched The Last Seduction, starring Linda Fiorentino and Bill Pullman. It's a really good drama with a few twists in it. It came out in '94. I'll watch The Mothman Prophecies today. Another great movie, I think. Yeah, Roman, I saw Grosse Point Blank. I don't remember the plot but I think I enjoyed it. John Cusack is pretty good.

WOW! I MEAN, WOW!

Did you all see the finish to the Darlington race? The Tide car came from behind and locked wheels with the Rubbermaid car on the final turn. White smoke was blowing between the two cars and they ran in tandem down the track. The Tide car was swerving to get loose and it inched, I mean inched, ahead of the Rubbermaid car. Their bumpers were still locked together and they crossed the finish line like that. It was incredible. The Tide car almost fishtailed too. That's the best finish I have ever seen on NASCAR.
