I just watched The Matrix with my son.
wow...omg it was kind of gross in parts...that thing crawling in the bellybutton was beyond ooey for me!

but a really cool movie I thought.

of course I'm assuming you've seen it...you see all the movies!

what should we watch next?

I just watched The Matrix with my son.

Yeah, I loved the Matrix. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon has great Kung Fu special effects like the Matrix, but your son might find the movie long and the love story uninteresting.

Anything by Jackie Chan might interest the both of you. I loved the two Rush Hour movies.

Terminator 2 is still cool after all these years, as is Aliens. Be prepared to cover his little ears, though because these people have filthy mouths.

I heard Starship Troopers is pretty good too.

Another good sci-fi he probably hasn't seen is Universal Soldier.

An oldie but a goodie. Braveheart is long but has good medieval action in it.

Courage Under Fire is a decent military movie starring Meg Ryan.

Patriot Games and Air Force One are great! Can't go wrong with Dirty Harry series or even Eastwood's westerns.

Executive Decision with Kurt Russell. The Great Muppet Caper.
The Long Kiss Goodnight, with Gena Davis and Samuel L. Jackson.
The Mask of Zorro!
Mission: Impossible 2.
The Perfect Storm.
Places in the Heart, good family movie with Sally Field, John Malkovich and Danny Glover.
The Princess Bride is inconceivable!
Ravenous, with Guy Pearce and David Arquette, movie about cannibalism during the Civil War, it's a hoot!

The Rock, Sean Connery and Nicolas Cage.

The Sixth Sense, Spartacus, Gladiator, Sling Blade, Under Siege, with Stephen Seagal, Tombstone, with Kurt Russell, Val Kilmer and other cute men.

Well that came at just the right time...I'm drowning a little today...it's so very exhausting to try to reason with an unreasonable person.
And now he's started going through my things...snooping...and yet maintaining that he wants to work this out and stay together. I'd tell him to fuck off but besides being so very unladylike, he'd think that was an invitation!

I'm really sorry that things are at a low-point right now. But I'm glad you can see the light at the end of the tunnel and we're all there cheering for you. "Run toward the light, BethAnne!" BTW, handgun control means hitting what you aim at. Murderous thoughts come from the individual, not the weapon used, so if guns were banned, there are plenty of other tools available to accomplish these crimes of passion. Talk to a professional if you ever feel things are getting out of hand. I'm glad you found the movie list helpful.
