Maybe just a drink...

I hate him, I hate him, I hate him!

While I may have not spoken those words outright, I might as well have, given the fowl expression on my face. I don't know quite what I was expecting, it seemed to have been coming for some time now. Eighteen years old and done with high school - I was naive enough to expect my five year relationship to last forever. But when Rick had finally made up his mind about going to Arizona State University, reality hit me like a truck. Now, I desperately wanted to convince him to stay in New York with me, but he was convinced that this city wasn't for him... And as it turns out, neither was I.

I suppose that's how I ended up here, alone at some bar. It was a bad idea in retrospect, because not only was I alone in downtown New York, but that I was a light drinker. The latter must have been imprinted right on my face, since from the very moment that I got in, I was surrounded by guys offering me drinks. I always politely declined, for obvious reasons. I was not going to be taken advantaged of.

I had to admit, however, that the attention felt pretty nice. I was a shy girl however, so I never really acted upon all the stares that I was getting. It was an odd thing - while my eyes said "I'm a nice girl, leave me alone", my body was practically sculptured for sin.

Dressing a bit more modestly might have helped my cause, you might imagine. Here I was wearing a purple cocktail dress which hugged my hourglass body perfectly. I was blessed with such a body; a slim figure, soft pale skin, huge DDD cup breasts and a plump but firm ass. My long blonde hair also got its share of attention, match by my gorgeous face and green eyes. These features, put together with my long legs and high heels, made me seem dressed to kill. Too bad that I wasn't in such a mood...

My legs crossed, the bartender handed me a drink.

"Wait...I didn't order anything." I told the bartender curiously.

I was nursing my drink when the gorgeous blond walked in the bar. I was not one to stare at women at the best of times, but it was very hard not to notice her. She was all dolled up and he couldn’t imagine why she walked into this bar. I looked her up and down once then my eyes stopped at her magnificent breasts. She had everything from the shying blonde hair, green eyes and pair of firm breasts that were saying play with me. Everything about her spelled S E X except that she looked very young.

I wasn’t sure she was yet old enough to drink, but I watched as every man at the bar there gathered around her offering to buy her a drink, but she politely declined every offer and he thought it was very wise of her, even though I couldn’t take my eyes off of her. Everything about her was calling to me, and I got the bartender attention and told him I’ll buy the lady the same drink she was drinking, and sat back to see what she would or say hoping she would change her mind and take my offer. Allthough what I wanted to offer her was not for public eyes.

"Wait...I didn't order anything."

She told the bartender and he turned around to point in my direction. I was already on my feet and walked over to sit on the empty stool next to her.

“I’m Brett and I’m afraid it was my doing. I told the bartender to bring you another drink, and to be honest I thought you could use on ear and someone to talk to.” I said smiling and looking into a set of beautiful emerald eyes, than at her pink moist lips that I was dying to kiss amongst other things I would love to do with them.

I was quickly caught in surprise by the figure standing next to me. I watched as this stranger took the seat right next to my own and his eyes captured my own.

Someone to talk to? That was a first. Still, it was a pleasant surprise to have a guy open a conversation with something order than "Can I buy you a drink?". Smiling, I thanked him for the drink before taking a sip. "Oh, and thanks for the offer, but I don't have much to burden you with - just going through a breakup...I think. Anyway, I'm Amy, nice to meet you." I add in a warm tone.

Being this close to her now gave me a chance to really look at her, and she was indeed young 18 at the most if she was 18. Regardless of her age I was attracted to her immediately, and he smile captivated me like nothing even had. Her lips were very inviting and even more so after she took a sip of the drink, they were very moist and so kissable. I couldn’t help my thoughts as they were running wild in my head.

You are welcome it was my pleasure buying you a drink” I sad smiling at her my eyes never leaning hers.

"Oh, and thanks for the offer, but I don't have much to burden you with - just going through a breakup...I think. Anyway, I'm Amy, nice to meet you." She said. Brett smiled as his intuition had been right.

“Nice meeting you Amy and the pleasure is all mine, but you must admit Amy I was right about you needing an ear. I am not an expert in breakups but I’m sure they are painful just same, and unless I am wrong your breakup was recent right?” He said and took a sip of his drink without breaking contact with his eyes.

I chuckled. "Well, you were right and...right again. Just today, in fact." I say, drinking my beverage gracefully as I try to break out of the sombre attitude of mine. Joking, I continue "Seems a bit cliche right? Going drinking the same day as a breakup? Sorry, I'm probably just a mood killer right now, aren't I?" All things considered, if he was just playing me, he was doing a very good job at it. I was convinced, already, that he was genuine. Within a moment, my glass was empty as I leaned closer to him - perhaps subconsciously.

"So, what are you here for? An outing with friends?"

"Well, you were right and...Right again. Just today, in fact."

Brett didn’t expect that answer, and he thought she had to feel really bad for her to come in this bar to drink and forget.

“Wow today ah! That must really suck for you Amy. I don’t really envy you drinking, but I don’t think it will except it might give a pretty bed headache.

"Seems a bit cliché right? Going drinking the same day as a breakup? Sorry, I'm probably just a mood killer right now, aren't I?"

“A cliché yes you my say that as I’ve heard, and was now just thinking of it. I also heard that the pain won’t away with the drink, but will sure give you a hell of a headache, and you don’t strike as one that usually drinks.” He said smiling at her and though it would be better to get her out of this place, and maybe go or a coffee or something to eat.

"So, what are you here for? An outing with friends?"

Brett smiled at her. “Nothing like that Amy I just stopped to have a drink and I mean a drink only, and I came here alone.” He said and noted she drank the drink he bought for her was gone.

“Amy say no if you don’t think you can trust me, but could I buy you a coffee or something to eat.”

“Amy say no if you don’t think you can trust me, but could I buy you a coffee or something to eat.”

I bit my lower lip, wondering if it would be a good idea. I mean - I didn't know this guy for long, and it was dark outside. Still... I smiled and responded "Well sure." surprising even myself. "Though, where did you have in mind?"

I was waiting anxiously for her answer. I was not ready to part with her and wanted to keep her with me as long as I could. Amy didn’t seem to mind being with me and id she was looking for more than a drink, he would welcome the chance.

"Well sure." surprising even myself. "Though, where did you have in mind?" she asked me.

Anywhere you like to go Amy its fine with me. We could go to my place but I didn’t think you would want to go there or maybe to your place where you would feel more at home.” He said looking into her beautiful green eyes to see what they would say to me.

I just want to get you out of the bar, and get to know you better. Maybe you could use a shoulder to cry on by talking about your breakup. You never know, it might make you feel better afterwards,” I said and took her hand.

“Come lest get out of here Amy and then you can tell me where you like to go”.

A shoulder to cry on? I wasn't that dramatic but, some company would indeed be nice. I would have asked to go over my place, if it weren't for the fact that I shared my room with somebody else. Without much hesitation, I nodded and responded "We could go to your place...if you don't mind."

Amy didn’t even hesitate and I couldn’t for a better answer, and we both walked out of the bar and got into my car. I didn’t bother asking Amy is she had a car I was not planning on coming back here till the next day, unless Amy wanted to stay much longer at his place.

The drive was not long and we got to my place in 15 minutes. My place was not that big but living alone in a 2000 sq. feet suite was big enough, and included everything and a great view of the city.

I hit the button to open the gate and drove to my parking pace, and then we took the elevator to my floor. I open the door and moved to let Amy in first.

“Welcome to my abode Amy and please make yourself at home.”
