Neat idea for a thread
Haven't seen people talking about this before...
In my case, I was coming out of a complicated time in my life and was craving simplicity. That, and the song Simple Gifts is one of my favorite American tunes (especially the Aaron Copland arrangement). Strangely (to me), I tend to get a lot of people who think I'm female based on that name.
