Medieval Madness

"Searching for such an elusive creature as a unicorn, I suspect that I will have to share a saddle with you for more than one day. I hope A'maeler will not become too bothered by my presence," Darris said softly, his eyes dancing over her face, trying to read her thoughts in her attractive features.

Searching for such an elusive creature as a unicorn, I suspect that I will have to share a saddle with you for more than one day. I hope A'maeler will not become too bothered by my presence

I dunked my head under, loving the feel of the water on my naked body. I come up and I know my body is glistening in the moon showing off every curve.

"Don't you worry about A'maeler, he will warm up to you. Maybe in the morning you could give him a sugar cube, he loves them. So ...... what does a bard such as yourself do besides play music and hunt for Unicorns?"

I let a mischevious smile play on my lips, inviting him to say something naughty.

Raven

After quitesome time has passed I jump down from my branch and land silently in the shadows. I pad quietly back to where I left my clothes and as I am about to grab them with my teeth I hear the splashing sound coming from the water and glance over seeing both the elfin woman and the bard. Shaking my head I grab my clothes, (Well at least someone isn't cleeping alone tonight) I think to myself as I pad off into the darkness just outside of the firelight. I morph back into my human form and dress quietly before walking into the campsite to settle down for the firewatch. I see the warrior in what appears to be a medatative state and deciding it better to just wait than to interrupt him I sit down leaning against Dawnfire who is curled up nearby and watch him. I note that he is just as big without his armor and allow my mind again to wander how it would feel to have those large hands caressing my skin. I smile lightly thendig a pot out of my pack and pouring water out of my leather canteen set it on the fire, (A good hot cup of tea will settl emy hormones).

Marcus heard splashing from upstream. He looked and saw two figures in the river. Deciding it best to leave them their privacy, Marcus picked up the cold fish-cube and left for the camp.

As he entered the clearing he noticed that there was already meat on a skewer. Well, I'll just keep this frozen and we can eat it in the morning. Marcus thought to himself as he set the frozen fish in his tent. He then sat down across the fire from warrior and the changling. "Nice night isn't it?"

Raven

I smile over at Marcus...."It isss warm for thisss time of year...." I grin a bit more realizing I still have a bit of the feline speech from my transformation. "You will excussssssse me if I ssslur a bit...but it takessss time to recover from that particular transsssformation." I grab a small bundle out of my bag and rolling it open throw herbs and blossoms into the now boiling water, I also grab some salt and seasoning and throw it into the fire watching the myst like swirl of smoke as it surrounds the venison. i glance up and notive the mage watching me closely......again sitting back I bend on leg at the knkee and rest my arm against it. "You have never met one of my kind have you?".

Marcus gave a start when he realized that he was staring. He brought his vision into focus and caught her dark, beutiful eyes. "No, I admit that I haven't. A mage's life is far greater than a normal humans. I've lived about two or three human lifetimes but am still only middle-aged by mage standards, and have seen a great many creatures in my life, but none of your kind. I must admit, Raven... You fascinate me. Your power is a rare gift, and I'm almost as inclined to study you to learn the secrets of your abilities as I am the unicorns."

Marcus leanded back, feeling hunger take hold of him. "Perhaps you would be so kind as to let me examine you shape shifting after we eat this lovely meal?"

Saphire had been following the river for some time now, perhaps it was time to stop she mused to herself as glanced around and saw nothing but darkness trees and the bubbling of the river.

Pushing on as determination was her strong point she rounded the river bend....was that voices she herd..listening intently it was voices she herd. Pausing a moment she wasnt sure if she should ride right by them or give them a wide birth.

It was then the sweet smelling herbs assaulted her nose, "mmmmm" she moaned softly, Saphire was starving and such sweet smells she had never smelt before. deciding to take her chance she kicked her steed on and approached the camp.

One man lay in slumber while a.....lady tended to the pot boiling above the dancing flames. Clearing her throat so as not to startle the woman Saphire dismounted and stepped into view...............

Telereth

As the new woman stepped into the light of the campfire she stopped suddenly, feeling a cold prickling along her throat. Telereth stood in the shadows, his long, curved blade lay across the woman's throat.

"It is customary to rouse someone when their watch comes up, Raven. Identify yourself, woman."

It was difficult to imagine how, in such a short period of time, he had gone from his position across the camp to here, but it was this skill that had made him the bane of many a warrior in the past.

He gave out a short laugh. "I daresay more than a few tavern wenches and merchants daughters could answer that one for me."

Darris slipped a little closer to Mira in the water, resting his palms on her hips whilst his fingertips traced small circles on her skin. "What about you, Mirdanthielle?" he asked, "I have a feeling you are quite world-wise yourself."

He leaned forward, and let his lips brush against hers, lifting a hand to tilt back her chin, drinking in her eyes with his own.

gulping softly not to much for fear of cutting her throat on the blade now pressed to her gullet. Saphire whispered "I be Saphire, and ye my unfriendly sir would be?"

Her body pressed against this stranger as he held her to his will, Saphire should have held her tongue but at times her temper fails her.

"I mean ye nay harm, I was but passing" she offered as an excuse hopping it would server to ease his caution.

Telereth

"And your purpose? I do not take well to being spied upon"

Suddenly the blade began to quiver. His hand convulsed and the sword dropped to the ground. Telereth collapsed to one knee, a hand rising to his head, he began to sweat profusely.

"Such.......desire....."

He hadn't been prepared for this, such an assault of sexual energy from.... the river. His body was flushing with heat, with need, with desire. He struggled in his mind to contain it, had he been more prepared this would not have happened.

The blade dropped the ground with the Ching of steel against a rock. At first Saphire assumed the good man had come to his senses.

But as she turned to face him he dropped to the ground in some sort of trance he spoke in tongues as if possessed his body seemed to be over heating and he was loosing control.

Un sure what to do Saphire grabbed a near by flask of water and tipped it over his head in an attempt to cool him.

"whats wrong with ye man" Saphire yelled in panic as she looked for another container of cold water, finding none she rushed to the river flask in hand to retrieve more

Telereth

He looked up at the woman who dumped water on him, his eyes burning like fire. All his mind could do is desire her, undress her with his eyes, he struggled to control himself. He slammed one fist into a tree, screaming.

"Get away.... get away from me...."

He let out a howl and gripped a nearby tree with all of his might, holding himself in place, trying to calm his lust.

Making her way down the tattered path to the river, Saphire's heart pounded in her chest, "you should have rode on you fool" she hissed at herself as she reached the rivers edge.

Stooping down she placed the flask in the water, wondering if it was going to do any good, the man seemed completely mad.

Making her way back the camp the flask full she stopped at the edge of camp looking at the man gripping the tree it was as if he needed it to secure him some place.

She took a deep breath and approached him, placing her hand on his tightly stressed shoulder " I fetched ye some water" her mind knowing she may have just made a the worst of her mistakes this evening. The first being to walk blindly into a strangers camp.

"What about you, Mirdanthielle?" he asked, "I have a feeling you are quite world-wise yourself."

His lips were but mere centimeters from mine, the heat coming from his body was luxurious.

"World-wise? Is that what it's called?" I lifted my lips the rest of the way to his. My hands wound up behind his neck as I pulled him closer to me, crushing my breasts and hips against him enjoying the feel of his skin.

Telereth

By the time the woman returned he was gaining some control, forcing his mind back into the cold state that kept him sane. As she touched his shoulder he spun, winding his arm around hers in such a way that if he jerked upward it would snap, and gripping her throat with several of his powerful fingers.

"What is your purpose, woman? Why have you approached us?"

Dropping the flask startled by the man, Saphire screamed in pain as he twisted her arm. "gaah you fool man if I meant ye harm would I have fetched you water, ye truly have gone mad" Saphire spat at him venomously fury now building in her she was not the type to take to being man handled.

She thought of her jewelled dagger secured to her hip but she couldn't Manouver to grip it, one move and he would snap her arm or rip out her throat.

As he arched her slightly by pulling up her arm, Saphire out of need to stop the pain leaned backward this not only gave him better access to her throat also gave a delightful view of her full milky skinned chest, the mounds peaking just above the neck of the peasant top "aaah damm it man listen to me, i mean ye no harm" Saphire whined between gritted teeth.

Telereth

A low growl escaped his throat as he spun the woman around by her wrist, disengaging his arm lock. He dipped down and retreived his sword from the ground, holding it in a ready position toward her.

"Who are you? Why are you here?"

"I told ye man..." Saphire felt relieved as he released her arm and gripped only but her wrist but soon lost the quick relief when he placed his sword in her direction.

"I told ye, I am Saphire and I am but a passing travler...the smells of ye camp attracted me" she turned and made eye contact with him allowing him to see her truth but also eyeing any possible escape.

Raven

My head snaps at the Warrior my eyes flashing in anger, "If I had given up the watch i WOULD have let you know warrior as it is one does not have to hide to be watchful!" I stand and walk over to the stranger and the halfling.......grabbing her chin I lower her face until I can see clearly into her eyes then release her. "Let her go.......there is no lie in her eyes.........and if she tries anything anyone of us here can handle it." I place my hand on his arm looking him in the eyes, "Lower your sword Telereth." At his pause I grab the wrist holding his sword applying a slow caress to his wrist through his shirt, "Go eat warrior.........there is no need to keep circuit to maintain safety."

Marcus chuckeled to himself at the display the high-strung warrior had put on. He beckoned the young woman to sit at their fire. "Come young lady, sit and eat. It is our way of apologysing for the zealosness of our friend. He only wishes to be sure that the camp is well protected." He cast a wink at Telereth and gave a little more strength to the fire so that the meat would cook faster.

Pulling her hand from Telereth, Saphire scowls at him "someone should teach him to be a tad more hospitable, he near broke my arm" Rubbing her shoulder Saphire glanced around she was alot more nervous about entering this camp now.

Trying to be courteous even though her anger made her want to slap Telereth for his greeting and challenge him to a duel, she thought things would have been different had she not thought him going mad or had she had her sword. She made her way to were the man had offered her a seat.

"thank ye" she whispered to him as she sat down. Admiring the blaze of the fire and then glancing to the sky above "its a nice night isn't it" not really one for small talk she was just not one for silence either.

"It is nice." Marcus responded as the lovely newcomer sat. "I'm Marcus, and, ot too seem as if I'm imitating Telereth over there, but what brings you out so far in the forest?" He asked with his ever-sly smile.

Smiling softly at Marcus's attempt at humour, Saphire considered his question. When wasn't she in the woods and why wasn't she else were would have been easier to answer. "Just riding, I like to adventure around our land" was the simplest answer she could come up with.

Jumping to her feet which caused Telereth to flinch, at which Saphire just smiled. Walking to her horse she removed two bottles from her pack some warm wine, she had carried two bottles of it for some time now never wanting to drink it alone "would anyone care for a drink" she raised the bottles at her side as she stepped back near the fire.

Sitting back by Marcus she looked about for takers smiling warmly "anyone?"

Now here was the type of company Marcus liked to keep, pretty and generous. "I for one would love some wine." He said as he leaned foreward to inspect the meat. "Ah, I think this should be done by now."
