I'll probably risk deportation from my own country by saying this, but Horton's is SO overrated. The coffee is crap, the donuts are microscopic and the breakfast sandwich is buttery to the point of greasy.

I'd say that was my two cents, but since we abolished the penny here and now round up or down to the nearest nickel, that was nothing

another good thing about Michigan even though I am not from there. after the orgy and drinking lots of beer we could recycle then buy more beer for another orgy.

Hortons does suck!!

I've only been to their roadside pit stops twice, but this last time was absolutely disgusting! Ditto on everything you claimed, but add the price for the mini pucks! Stale donuts for $1 each and coffee right from the mop bucket! Then they don't answer their complaint line when you call.

If anyone gets to Clair, you need to try "Cops and Donuts" in downtown Clair!
If anyone is visiting Grayling, you need to go to GOODALE'S!!!! The BEST bakery in Michigan! (although i've never been to Hamtramck)

I'd kill for a Timmy Hoes coffee and custard filled doughnut. But I'm dieting until the Holidays. The pumpkin cheesecake will be worth it in the long run... At least that's what I keep telling myself!

Keep an eye on your four legged friends!
The canine circovirus has spread into Michigan. I am not a vet nor claim to be but this virus (or virus much like it, still a lot of unknown factors) has taken the lives of half a dozen canines so far within the last 2months. Dogs are displaying loss of appeitite, bloody stool, and inability to move. The illness strikes suddenly and is fatal if not treated, if caught within the first 24hrs it is treatable.
I know someone in Ann Arbor who just lost her dog. Please let other dog owners know.
Okay, I'm done with my PSA and off my soapbox now.
