Michigan Roll Call

We were out till midnite clearing the drive. Kids got the leftovers this morning. I got a feeling I might be taking the monster blower down the street to help all of us get out of our sub

Same here. Spent more time clearing the street so we could get out of the sub. :(

Plows should go down my street today so I will be back at it again tonight.

What fun. December and January we get squat and now this.

Looking forward to tomorrow: U of M Men's LaCrosse season starts! Not a big Michigan fan, but I love LaCrosse. $6 at the door. Should be fun!

I'm going to an all day Steelhead fishing seminar. Should be interesting. At least to me. Found out earlier today that I won a guided trout fishing trip in northern MI.

You got to laugh at we are at 15 right now and that should be our high spot of the day

Hey Mitten! Cabin fever set in yet? Think positive! June is only 4 months away! You have plenty of time to contemplate my birthday gifts! :D

I had to drive to Chicago yesterday. Hit white outs there and back. 7 1/2 hours to get home Ugg :(

The ride home was much worse than the ride over. I thought at one point of just stopping and get a room for the night. Cleared up just east of Kalamazoo and the ride got a lot faster but made for a long day.

Lake effect off Lake Michigan is always a horror. A few years ago when I was moving to that area one of my friends asked, "Got that 9-horsepower snowblower, yet?" I said, "No. Why?" He just said, "You'll find out..."

Snowblowers are for pussies and senior citizens lmao!! I love shoveling snow. I have a very large driveway and path, wouldn't do it any other way. Even last year when we had all that snow, got to get in a workout somehow!

Normally I'd agree with you but that last storm was more than I could handle. My back driveway is still covered in snow.

So what are you saying? lol

I agreed with you for many decades...but they've caught up with me. And besides, when you open the garage door and are confronted with a three-foot wall of snow that's drifted against it, your perspective sorta changes.

Thank God I'm back on the East Side, where that sort of thing isn't a regular occurrence anymore. We get snow, sure, but not like they get along the coast...
