I'm still here. It's just that there are a lot of places I stay where there isn't any internet access. You can get hooked up just about anywhere near the cities, but in the countryside it is still hit and miss.

Had my first cowboy.

I think it was a cowboy who had seen neither horse nor steer, but everything else worked okay.

All is well with me today.

Back on my own and it's not as bloody hot as last week.

Got caught in a nasty storm (electrical and rain) and stayed at a coffee shop for what seemed like an enternity. Didn't get wet but got real tired of sitting around. A lot clearer today -- so far.

These are quite comfortable(been in them myself), padded boots.....Padded straps are so the patient does not fall off the surgical bed....

Yes of course....and you are right nothing too fun about actual surgery...but that was not the idea..lol

Without going in to detail...patients are put in all kinds of positions fo rdifferent surgeries....and so must be held in safely and comfortably so to avoid injury...

I am in the west right now, headed toward the midwest eventually, and maybe then up north. Just hitchhiking and getting rides wherever I can at this point.
