"Mistaken Identity"
Kyle Lee was sitting at the hotel's mezzanine coffee shop, waiting for his appointment, when he looked up and saw her at the railing.
His first thought was Why not be a little more obvious?
He glanced about the second floor for prying eyes, but no one seemed to be paying any attention to her nor for whom she appeared to be striking a pose. He gestured to the Barista to put his order on his room, then made his way slowly over to the beauty.
"Thanks for meeting on such short notice," he said quietly. "I..." He glanced about the floor again, then said, "Gloria told me that the spur of the moment arrangement would cost me more ... and that's fine."
He pulled the second room key card from his jacket pocket and held it inconspicuously out before him. "Room 1412. Right out of the elevators ... third door. Might be better if you took a later elevator."
Kyle thought he saw confusion in the woman's face. He said, "I don't mean to imply that I don't want to be seen with you. But ... well, I am a married man and not at all unfamiliar to others who frequent this hotel."
Kyle couldn't have known that the confusion in the woman's face had nothing to do with his desire to be inconspicuous about escorting an Escort up to his room, but had every thing to do with the fact that she wasn't the Escort he'd been expecting, that she was just a beautiful woman out to lunch with her husband -- currently in the restroom -- and who thought he was attractive and had decided to give him a smile.
