OK, I took a trip to the Northland Inn today. It is off of 94, near 169....very easy to find, although the construction might mess with us a bit.

I have been to the hotel's restaurant before.....it's ok, but not really worth how much it costs.....so I checked out the food at Weaver Lake Road and 494, not too far if we carpool:

~ Timber Lodge Steakhouse
~ Famous Daves
~ Don Pablos
~ Hops
~ Champps
~ Joe's Crab Shack
~ Ground Round
~ Buca Di Beppos
~ Olive Garden
~ Sawatdee
~ Houlihans
~ Cattle Company
~ Applebees

~ AND Cold Stone Creamery, for after dinner

So what do you guys think for restaurants? What sounds good?

Don Pablo's sounds yummy... something spicy washed down with a margarita ... oooo what could be better than that... unless someone wanted to share some shrimp cocktail...

My friend would love to come, but she can't make it this time....some family obligation, I believe, and then the Harry Potter book release at midnight....for some reason she has to do that, I can't remember why.
