I tried reading Outlander but I couldn't get into it.
I personally really like her books. But it would be very boring if we all liked the same kind of books!

Very true! Tell me why you like them...let's discuss.

You're both too kind. Thank you! I hope to post some new pictures soon, once I crawl out of the mountain of work surrounding me.

That might make a hot pic. You know, the "business professional" in a low cut top and skirt crawling out from between these piles and piles of papers. Maybe in B&W. Maybe in colour. Hmm. Anyway, looking forward to the new pics.

A friend I had gave me a copy of the first book as a gift some years ago, and when I first started reading it, I was sucked into it. I didn't know anything about the books at all, and what I like is the detail she puts into them, and the research that she obvious have put into the books.

Story wise I like how she manages to mix her story with real events, it's an interesting thought that she wants to try to make her characters change history. And I feel like the characters come alive to me when I read her books.

I don't know if it makes sense or not ;)

<giggle> I usually look quite frazzled when crawling around in the papers. But I think you're right. "Naughty career girl" is closely allied to "sexy teacher," and we all know how excited everyone got about that! ;)

It makes lots of sense! For my part, I couldn't ever get sucked in; I didn't find the two main characters believable.

I'm not generally a huge fan of historical fiction anyway.

Purple Dress 1 drives me insane every time I see it.

Thank you! I appreciate the feedback, and maybe I'll try to do another series with a similar pose sometime.
