A question before I post again. How much control do we the players have versus the thread masterminds in controlling NPCs?

The teacher in me knows that if Ol' Heine lets the kids mutiny like that the first day, it's all over, but I don't want to step on anyone's toes in any way. Of course, maybe the idea is complete student anarchy/rule, which is fine. I just kind of wanted to know so I could post accordingly.

NPCs are open play. If one's free and you feel you could make use of 'em, go for it.
