Moochie’s Meandering Missives (and a pic or two)

On my drive home this morning,
There were birds all lined up,
Evenly spaced,
On a wire across the road
Somewhere downtown.

They all seemed so happy
In their little row,
Chatting with each other,
Playing telephone down the line
With one saying something like
“Did you see Karen’s new shiny thing? OMG!”
And ending with
“Did you see Karen flew with Jeffrey? OMG!”

All of them were just giggling up there
As I drove under them.

This picture has nothing to do with my story.
Enjoy.

I would never have thought that seeing birds on a wire. Just shows how varied and complex brains are.

This is very nice, Moochie. May I borrow your story?
Love the photo as well.

Moochie, thank you for the missives and the pics. You bring a lot of color in both.

Them boots and white laces... the best thing I've seen for a good while.

The laces have little holographic threads running through them to make them sparkly too. They were my change up. I’m looking for the right replacement laces for my white boots. I have some rainbows, but I don’t know if that’s right yet. I like the black for now.

Another lovely outfit. I like the pattern of your leggings/tights.

Is the outdoor setting close to your home as you have several so far.

The outdoor settings are all places I found convenient (and not too awkward) to take a picture during my day. They’re not super close to my house, but one has been within a walking distance.

Damn just stunning. You a such a beautiful site to behold.

Thank you 😊

Brains can be wonderful, strange, exotic, sexy, scary, funny things...

Borrow my story? Uh... sure? Whatcha gonna use it for?

Very nice

Very thanks

Lovely, Moochie. I enjoy your November series.

Oooo... I like the idea of this being a series. Should I do other series? The ‘December Décolletage’ has a ring to it... ;)

Mmmm, mmm.

🌷

Moochie, thank you for the missives and the pics. You bring a lot of color in both.

It’s quite funny because I sometimes joke that I’m so pale I could glow in the dark... but, thank you. This is a very sweet compliment. I sometimes think I might be too much for the usual ampic viewer. It’s nice to be appreciated. 🌷

Laces with holographic threads. Absolutely fantastic.
I also love those purple shoes, you have such ecletic and wonderful taste in clothing. I love it!

Yes, you should do more series. I like 'December Décolletage’ also. Good idea! I'll pm you with how I would like to use the story.

It’s a deep breath in
Through teeth
That want to separate,
But can’t
Because they’re untrusted
In this moment
With the words
That have settled deep,
Made their way
Through the chambers
Blocked by valves,
Moving with a senseless violence
That makes sense
Under the din
Of the air filling
To the base of lungs.

It’s an exhale
As the wind
That couldn’t be kept long,
Finds its way forcefully
Out into the world
Whether it wanted to,
Needed to,
Or not
Because the squeeze of muscles
Wants to be more,
Harder than before
But there’s hands missing
And weight missing
And what is a heart to do
In that moment
But keep beating?

Do you self-tie the rope bondage / shibari? I always found it difficult, well at first. I had a female friend who was very curious so spent several sessions with instructions, rope and an naked woman trying to workout the topographical relationship of rope. It was amusing with my fumbling but eventually we got to something "interesting"

I do self-tie. Everything you’ve seen tied on me in this thread has been tied with my own hands. I went to a few classes (three total) where I tied myself and also had the opportunity to tie with and on a partner. After those, roughly 2 years ago now, it was all learning from online tutorials and now I like to find a picture of something and recreate it without a tutorial. I tend to go for form and function. For example, this last tie, if I added bilateral lower gluteal lines, I could suspend with the hip harness alone (instead I opted to create a chest piece with my remaining rope because I do it for me and I love the squeeze on my rib cage).

It is very skilled (from my experience to self-tie). I guess you can feel a self-restriction and get a positve feed-back when you are tying. I love your knots. The robust and over-sized form remind me of you footware choice (or am I takling rubbish). I had to try several types of rope, I found, as some don't bind or the wrong thickness.

definitely my kind of advent calendar, though more of an

I certainly do feel better if I tie tight and have some rope around my ribs... but I don’t know if that’s the same for everyone.

Hmmm... I like to think my knots are delicate, but I guess they could be robust as well.

As far as finding the right rope for you... at this point I tie with both hemp and jute, all 6mm thickness, and all lengths of about 25-30 feet. I bought them specially hand-dyed with foodsafe (so skinsafe) dye. I don’t like the look of nylon’s rope marks, but the colour is always vibrant, and I hear the knots are easier to undo - which is good for beginners. I have seen people use cotton, but I can’t speak to it at all. It’s probably easy to wash? TAN? If you’re reading, do you know?

I think the feeling of restraint is key in rope work. That slight feeling of constricted discomfort.

Robust as in strong and restraining. They are very elegant and better than my efforts.

The friend who I tied had natural ropes. Hemp I think. I don't know if they feel ticklish and rough on skin? She seemed to be fine with it. Tan polypropylene. Yes, the colours are great with nylon but very synthetic and not orgainic to work with. Also there is a distinctinctive aroma to the natural ropes.
