Moonlight Rendezvous (closed)

Even as he began to thrust harder, Aria felt safe in his embrace. The web of violence and passion drew her in a way she had never imagined before. She didn't know that anyone could make her feel as alive as Varg. It wasn't just the warrior strength and sadness about him that drew her but the wild, volatile storm that he kept tightly leashed. It's not that she need him to love her harder, though she did want him to. It's the fact that she wanted as much of Varg as possible to be present with her. She didn't want just a part of Varg. She wanted all of her golden eyed wolf.

She felt herself spiraling out of control as he grew harder and lunged faster into her very womb. He touched every sensitive nerve and sent bursts of sizzling pleasure-pain throughout her body. The force of his driving motions into her in this position left her no choice but land with a firm smacking of skin as he slammed into the end of her. Little grunts burst from Aria's throat as she held on for the wild ride. She swiveled her hips downward to meet each upward thrust and gasped her lovers name in a loving mantra. Quickly, faster than ever, the whirlwind of pleasure-pain caught her in its exhilarating hold and she cried out his name like a plea as she exploded in racking shudders around him.

Her orgasm was quick to bring his. His hips bucked hard as he filled her with his seed. Her screams echoed in his ears and his vision tunneled. It usually took a hard blow to the back of the head for his vision to go wonky like that. The brief feeling of vulnerability caused the hairs on his neck and shoulders to stand on end before settling again. He eased himself out of Aria and set her on her feet slowly. He supported her as she recovered and moved her under the shower jets. The water washed away the sweat, cum and blood and massaged her body as it rained down. Varg's features returned to normal, but he still looked apprehensive.

"When we go to the mystic, we gotta ask him for something for this," Varg said, his voice just above a whisper. "I can't keep getting you bloody every time I get wood."

Aria rested in Varg's arms and let him hold her up as the water rinsed her off. She was too lost in the feel of her body falling apart still to move. She knew she was bruised and maybe bleeding but it didn't bother her at all. It was worth it. She turned around to face him, rested her head against his chest and wrapped her arms around his back. "Varg, can you carry me to bed? I think I need a nap before we go anywhere. Just a little one. Will you hold me? Please?"

She laid a sleepy kiss on his breastbone and laid her head back. She rubbed her hands slowly against his lower back. "We can go see the mystics after I wake up. You'll keep me safe, my wolf. My golden wolf..."

Varg wordlessly picked her up and stepped out of the shower. He sat her down on the sink, hung a towel over his shoulders, and used a second towel to dry Aria off. His touch was surprisingly delicate. At the end he draped the towel over her head while leaving her face uncovered to dry her hair. He picked her up again and carried her to the bedroom where he gently placed her in bed. "I'll get you in an hour. We want to get this done before nightfall."

He kissed her softly and left the room. He finished toweling off and dressed again. He packed his bowl and sparked up, staring out the windows at the streets below. Somewhere out there was the source behind all the trouble. He would find it. And if he could hurt it, he would make sure the last thing it saw was his jaws.

Aria felt tired enough to sleep but she couldn't do it. She shifted restlessly on the bed for a few minutes and gave up. She needed Varg. She wanted to be in his arms. She padded back downstairs with only her damp hair covering her svelte pale golden toned body. She saw Varg smoking and staring out of the window. He seemed worried, angry and sad. She walked to him and pressed herself against his back, curling her arms around his waist. "I need you, my wolf. Will you lay down with me? I want to sleep in your arms. Please, Varg?"

Varg put the bowl down quietly and took Aria back to bed. He laid down beside her, one arm going around her slender figure. "I promise I'll protect you," he whispered. "Even after I've done what the mystics wanted, I'll stay and protect you." There was a stony sincerity in his voice. "Anything that tries to hurt you will have to get through me first. I promise I'll protect you." The gravity in his words was unlike anything a human would say. The words were uttered almost as a prayer. He had spoken so passionately about his responsibility before, that it was a matter of honor. In that moment, it was clear what a promise meant to his people.

Aria laid her hand on Varg's cheek, kissed him sweetly and looked into his eyes. "I know you will. I know you will protect me from harm. I promise to always be there for you. No matter what. As you will protect me with your strength, I promise to hold you in my heart. You are my golden wolf, Varg. My strong wild wolf."

She curled herself around his body and tucked her head against his chest. She sent her free hand to find his and wove her fingers between his. Her thumb caressed his hand in small circles as she fell asleep in the arms of the one she loves.

Varg didn't sleep. His mind was too busy for that. He went over a million different things in his head. He ultimately made a decision. He would tell her.

An hour later, he stirred Aria awake. "We should head out soon." She sat up and he hesitated a moment. "First... I wanna tell you something."

He sat up himself and brushed his hair back. This was still hard to do, even with his mind made up. "My parents died when I was 8 years old. Killed in front of me by a demon. That was the first time I ever transformed. Also my first real fight." He looked at her, indicating the obvious that he had won that encounter.

"Raising me fell to my relatives. My dad's brother, Uncle Leo. And my mother's brother, Uncle Severin and his wife, Aunt Eve. They had no fucking clue what they were doing. They didn't raise me like my father did. I just realized that they treated me like a weapon. They just pointed me at what they wanted dead, then put me on the shelf.

"But I don't need them anymore. I'm staying with you." His voice was soft and detached as he spoke. But those last two sentences carried strong emotional weight. It was a decision that made him feel like he was free.

Varg's tale explained why she felt what she has and why Varg is the way he is now. No wonder she wanted to hold him close. No wonder he holds himself apart.

"Look at me, my Wolf. Look into my eyes and hear the truth from my voice. You'll always have me. You will always be in my heart and I will always be by your side. I may not be strong like you are but I have a strong heart and strength of will. I can do anything I put my mind to. You are my golden Wolf, Varg. I love you and I want you to be with me always." She wrapped her arms around her strong warrior. "I'm sorry that your parents died a horrible death. I'm sorry that your family did not know how to raise you with love."

Pressing a kiss on his neck, Aria smiled at him. "Let me freshen up and put some clothes on and then we can go. Okay?"

She pulled on a black sports bra, winced at the pull of the tender cuts, drew on polka dotted undies, jeans, white tank top and silk blue button up shirt. Aria found Varg and returned to him for he has become her lodestone. She took his hand in hers and smiled. "I'm ready."

"You don't have to apologize for their deaths. They went out swinging. It was a good death. Worthy of them." That moment in his childhood Varg realized that when he died it would not be in bed. He had accepted this several years later. Death meant something else to werewolves. An inevitability they kept close in their minds at all times. The shadow of a companion.

He dressed in silence and left the apartment with Aria. They climbed onto his motorcycle and drove off. Their destination lay on the other side of town. The neighborhood was nowhere as dilapidated as Varg's, but had still seen better days. They parked near an old duplex. "This is where Pete lives," Varg explained. "Him and his brother Victor. Pete's the mystic."

Varg knocked on the door. It was answered a moment later by a man in blue jeans a V-neck shirt. His brown hair was shaggy and in need of a trim, as was his stubble. Though he acted a little spacey, there was a keen intelligence in his eyes. Like Varg, he gave off a somewhat dangerous vibe. His dorky appearance belied something explosive beneath. "Pete, we need some help."

They went inside and Varg explained the situation. The walls were covered with hand drawn star charts, numerology, two calendars, and a cork board covered in photos that didn't seem to have any particular connection to one another. Pete said little, and seemed to be completely unfazed when Varg spoke about his sex with Aria so frankly. "Wait here," the older werewolf said and wandered off into the kitchen.

"Pete's kind of... yeah." Varg didn't pretend to have the vocabulary to be able to describe Pete without sounding like a complete asshole.

Pete came back holding what had once been a Smuckers jar and now contained some manner of bluish paste. "Use this on the stomach," he explained and handed Aria the jar. "For the fucking, there a reason you can't just make her one of us?"

Varg looked down when Pete said, trying to hide his desire to strangle the old mystic. He was hoping like hell to make sure that stayed off the table.

Aria didn't think she would be the kind of person who loved riding motorcycles but she's definitely becoming one that loves riding motorcycles with Varg. She pressed against his back. The scent of him filling her nose. She could feel his strength in the way he drove the motorcycle and loved feeling the way his muscles bunched and relaxed. The wild wind blowing harshly around them made her feel like dancing and flying all at once.

They reached a little run down part of town and knocked on a duplex. A man with shaggy hair and blue jeans opened the door and let them in the house. The following conversation made Aria turn bright red and she fought the urge to hide behind Varg. It wouldn't do any good. A total stranger would still be hearing about her brand new sex life.

Before Aria could say think you for the medicinal salve for her wounds, she heard a question that Varg did not want her to hear. She looked at the mystic and then at her lover that was doing a great impression of being a statue. She hated it when he felt that he had to withdraw like that. Her hand grabbed his and laced their fingers together. She squeeze his hand with hers. "Why do I have to become one of you to have sex with Varg? I thought I'm tender because it's my first time. Is there something wrong with a human and werewolf having sex?"

"It's all that blood," Pete explained. "Humans and werewolves don't usually get it on. Wolf's too strong for the human to handle. Varg must be causing some sort of damage for there to be that much blood. Usually we fix that by giving the human the Gift."

"I don't like the idea," Varg grumbled. Given everything he'd done to this poor girl's life turning her into one of his kind just seemed cruel.

Pete eyed the younger wolf a moment. "There are alternatives. I could make a poultice to speed up the healing process. We could try magic." Pete paused there and looked at Aria. He stared for a long moment with his brow furrowed. After a minute his eyes unfocused as if he was staring through her.

"Pete?"

The mystic seemed to snap out of it. "If she no longer experiences bleeding after sex two days from today, let me know." With that, he turned on his heel and left the room.

"Pete? Pete, what the hell does that mean?" Varg tried to follow. "Hey, what the fuck are you talking about? Pete!" The mystic had already vanished up the stairs, transparently ignoring Varg. "Damn it! Hate when he does this..." He turned back to Aria and sighed. "He said to wait two days. I guess we'll do that."

Aria's brown eyes sparkled with wicked humor. She leaned up to whisper in Varg's ear, "No, what he said was to check if I'm still bleeding after we have sex two days from now. Which means we should have sex lots of times to see if I bleed afterwards. There's so many sexual things I've never tried. Don't you want to do them with me?"

She kissed his neck gently and opened the jar. She had forgotten to put any bandages on the cuts but she figured it would be better to put the salve on before they go. She scooped a glob onto her fingers and rubbed it gently onto her cuts. The cuts have stopped seeping blood at least. She closed the jar and put it away in her bag.

On the way home, Aria asked Varg to make a pit stop and she bought dinner to go: fried chicken, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, green beans, wheat beer and coke. They ate as soon as they got back to the house. Aria was happy to see Varg eat until he was full. She asked Varg to put away the leftovers and went upstairs to change into baggy pale green night shirt. She grabbed the salve and asked Varg to sit by her on the couch. She turned excitement filled eyes on him and shared her feelings with her smile. "I think I have an idea to help us."

Aria tapped the salve jar. "I can use this to help my-- you know, down there." She pointed towards between her legs. "I need your help though. You're hands are bigger than mine. You can put the salve on more of me inside. Will you help me, my wolf?"

The idea of more sex certainly appealed to Varg, though the idea of hurting Aria put a note of trepidation to that. More than that, he was trying to figure out what Pete meant. The old bastard had a habit of making cryptic comments and then wandering off to do god knows what. He seemed to think there was something unique about Aria. That look in his eyes said as much. He was having a hard time piecing it together, though the fragment of a thought danced along at the edge of his mind. Something he couldn't quite recall but knew it may have something to do with Pete's weird recommendation.

He sat down on the couch with Aria and smiled softly at her suggestion. If nothing else, kill two birds with one stone. He pulled her into his lap, took the lid off the jar and dipped two fingers into the salve. His free hand hiked up her shirt and she spread her legs to reveal her still tender pussy. He rubbed a little bit of the soothing balm on her lips before inserting his two fingers into her. He kissed her passionately as he explored her depths, coating every surface with the medicine while still trying to give her pleasure.

Aria moaned contently into their eager kiss. Her body shivered as his fingers stroked and spread the salve inside her tender passage. She couldn't help but move against his touch. Since their first time, it seems like she's learned about a part of her she has never known and wanted to make up for lost time by doing it over and over again. She blushed and laughed into their kiss at herself. She raised her hands to caress Varg's face and pulled away to look into his eyes.

"As much as I want to jump your body like a sex starved nut, maybe we should let the salve work for a little bit and then have sex." She put a hand on top of the one between her legs and held it still. "You can keep your fingers there if you want. I-I like feeling you in me."

She pulled her hair back to let the long hair curtain over Varg's shoulder onto the couch and snuggled into his arm. "It's really strange. I've been alone since my Mom died and I've gotten used to being by myself. In fact, I liked it a lot. But now..." She stroked his arm with a bare graze of her fingers. "I can't imagine being alone now. I belong with you, my wolf."

Aria nuzzled Varg's neck and kissed it before settling back down. "Tell me about your family, Varg. I want to know about you. About your parents, uncle and aunt. I want to know what you were like as a child and what you like to eat. Tell me everything. Good stories and bad. I want to hear it all."

She vocalized thoughts that echoed some of the ones he had been thinking. He had thought for years that his life would only ever be appreciated to those of his kind that he had helped. A few friends, but no real home. No real family. But now he felt like he belonged somewhere.

Aria asked him questions about his past. He sat in silence staring out the window ahead for a while as he gathered his thoughts. "My father, Donovan Blackstone. He was the strongest person I'd ever known. When I was a kid, I thought my father was unkillable. He told me what the mystics said. Told me I would be great...

"My mother stood by her family. She treated Severin better than he ever treated her. Severin's her brother. He was the big guy with the scar, couldn't talk. His larynx was crushed in a fight years ago. Eve, that woman with him, is his wife. She used to be human. Now she's a wolf like Severin.

"Leo... That fucking corpse is my father's brother. He was born during an eclipse. Wolves born like that... they're just proper fucked. Batshit, every last one of 'em." Varg trailed off a little at that. "Leo... I don't know what the deal is. It's like there's nothing there. No emotions. I can't tell if he doesn't show them or just doesn't have them... Didn't stop him from treating me like shit though. After my father died, Leo just wouldn't fuck off. Nothing was ever good enough for him. Didn't teach me anything beyond our history. Constantly told me I would have disappointed my father..." As he spoke Varg's jaw clenched and his eyes briefly flashed yellow. "But he was the one raising me. I don't need him anymore... I never did."

Aria caressed Varg's jaw tenderly. She kissed along his jawline with tiny little smooches. She raked her fingers through his thick hair as she looked into his eyes. "It's odd how beautiful your eyes are, my wolf. Even without the change. They're beautiful."

She could touch Varg forever and it would never tire her. She trailed her nails over his well defined chest. "What is a good memory of your father? Mother? Something that is just them. Did your Uncle Severin treat you well? Or did that change when he lost his voice? His wife seemed too sharp and very judgmental... Maybe she's just protective of her husband?"

Varg's unique scent filled her with comfort and she lapped at his neck with her tongue for a while. She enjoyed how his skin and underlying muscles felt on her tongue as she experimented with different pressures and licks. Leaving a lingering sucking kiss, she thought out loud, "Maybe your Uncle Leo is damaged, Varg. Not because he was born on an eclipse but because he lost something precious to him and he does not know how to be kind now. If he knows kindness, maybe he thinks he will show what is important to him and he fears losing it more than anything. He seemed very cold when we were at that house but he watched you closely the whole time. He looked at you like he wanted to make sure you were the same as when he saw you last. Maybe he is not a terrible man, Varg. Maybe he is just a very sad and lonely one that is afraid."

Varg shook his head. "Dad told me Leo'd always been like that. He's spent most of his life sitting in that same fucking chair, reading. The moon... does things to us. I was born under a full moon..." Varg looked at his free hand. "Like my father, it made me strong."

Varg lowered his hand again. "Severin took himself too seriously as far back as I can remember. The scar just made him an even bigger dick. He respected my father, but that's it. And Eve... I don't care what her problem is. Never knew enough to care."

He scowled thinking about his relatives. Despite being free of them they still left dark spots on his memories. Aria had asked him for a memory of his father. "One night, my dad took me out running rooftops in the city. First time. It was one way he went on patrol... I loved it. I still do it sometimes. Reminds me of that night. Him." He held Aria a little closer. It still hurt some nights. Nights when he couldn't sleep right. The dreams of violence and blood. He consoled himself silently, 'It was a good death.'

Aria wrapped an arm around Varg's head and soothingly caressed his hair. She wrapped her legs and arm around him and hugged him close. "I'm glad you had wonderful parents. I'm sorry you miss them. I bet running on the rooftops is amazing! Maybe you can teach me how to do it too. You should see me dance. Some dances makes me feel like I can fly. It's amazing. The way you make me feel is the most amazing. It's like you can touch me inside and out."

Snuggling, Aria asked, "Tell me about your kind. About werewolves. What's your people like? Is everyone a fighter or a mystic? How is the moon affect you so much, do you know? And you know, you can tell me all your memories. I will help you keep them alive. Your father and mother's memories."

Varg looked down at Aria. There was a lot behind his eyes. Pain, anger, regret... determination, passion, admiration. He was silent for a while. He decided to tell her the words he had learned. She had earned enough of his trust that she deserved to know.

"The storytellers say that we were born from raw savagery at the dawn of man. At first we hunted them. Then we walked among them in secret. No one knows why we made that change, but now the humans are too many for us to do anything else.

"We live in the moonlight. We safeguard our areas from other things like us..." His voice broke off from the narrative. "Like the thing that hurt you." He cleared his throat and continued the words. "We are the caretakers while the world of man sleeps. We are bound by honor and duty to prevent the spread of the enemies.

"We all have our roles to play. The light of the moon we're born under gives us our talents and strengths. It makes us who we are, at least partially. Soldiers, spies, sorcerers, and tradesmen all have a part in our society gifted to them at birth. We are the moon's children."

He hesitated when he finished before speaking in his normal tone of voice, "It's an old oration my dad had me memorize. I never forgot it. I know that doesn't answer much, but..." He wanted to tell her. His eyes said what he had such a hard time putting in words.

Somehow, Aria felt sure that her touch comforted and steadied Varg. One of her hands was always moving, stroking and caressing a part of him. Letting him know with her touch that she's there. It's as though he needed that physical reminder. As if he couldn't believe his what sight showed him.

"Thank you for sharing the story. You can tell me anything and I treasure the fact that you want to share it with me." She kissed him with slow, gentle touches of her lips and tongue. "There is nothing about you that I will not accept and love. Nothing. I love all of you. Every (kiss) single (kiss) part (kiss) of you, my (kiss) golden Wolf."

"Are there more stories about your kind? What of the others you fight? Do you have to be enemies?" she asked, curious.

"More stories... We'd have to visit Marcus. He knows them better than me. We'll stop at his diner for breakfast tomorrow." He lowered his lips to kiss Aria passionately. "I'll take you to meet others. My friends. You're with me, and that means they'll always help you." He kissed her again and rested his cheek on her forehead. He held her close, speaking nothing more after that for a while.

"The thing that attacked you was a wendigo, a hunger spirit. Every now and again they possess the body of a mortal that's starving and desperate. Must've picked some poor bum, wrong place, wrong time. That thing that cut you... used to be human. Destroying it was the only option. They have no scent. Since I couldn't find it by scent, it got the drop on you. That's not happening again. I know what to listen for now."

Varg looked to one side and furrowed his brow in thought. "Don't know where to start after that, really. Every culture that ever came to North America brought some of its myths and superstitions. Those same 'myths' followed them here. It gets complicated really fast."

"Really? You'll introduce me to your friends? I can't wait." Aria grinned. Her thoughts turned as she marveled at how much heat Varg gave off. With him around her, she would never need a heavy winter blanket again.

Body scents are nothing new to her. Dancers train for hours throughout a day in order to master technique, learn a pattern or practice for a performance. They sweat and bleed to be their best in their art. Some have a light scent and others seem to ooze out of their pours to fill the air around them. Varg had dueling scents that changed with his transformation. A manly masculine scent touched with the wild forest became sharper in a musky spice and a touch of other.

"I wonder why the wendigo came after me?" She gave a half snort. "I'm not special. Rather ordinary really." When she took a deep breath, Aria realized that she didn't feel the twinge of her cuts. Her hand traveled away from Varg and gingerly touched them. Wonder filled her eyes as she pulled away from Varg a little to look down. The salve worked like magic and the cuts were no longer open or seeping blood. Touching the healing marks, she wondered out loud. "Do you think I'll have scars? Does this mean I'm cool like you?" she teased lightly.

"Wendigos are hunger spirits. They grab whatever's at hand. But if you think you're nothing special, I'll have to fuck that idea out of you." Varg didn't want Aria speaking poorly of herself. Not after everything she'd done for him in such a short time. To emphasize his point, he flexed the two fingers still buried deep inside her.

Of course, he also neglected to mention there was a possibility that the wendigo may have had something to do with whatever the mystics wanted him to prevent. He couldn't rule out the possibility, but he had no real proof. For now he kept it to himself. Most perceived Varg as a dumb brute. He was moody, taciturn and rarely planned ahead. But he didn't stay alive this long by being stupid. His brain burned with a million different threads of information that he kept carefully stored away. It was the mind of a natural born predator. In his territory, nothing went unnoticed. Every enemy, every weakness, every fight, every pattern, it all formed a complex web in his mind that made him so effective as a warrior.

She looked down at her stomach. Already the medicine seemed to be doing the job. A few more days and she'd be fine. She asked him if she'd have scars. "Maybe. Might want to tell a better story how you got them though." For Varg, that was about as light as his humor ever got.

He lifted up his shirt and pointed to the deepest, most painful-looking of his scars. "Six years ago. Vampire. Used a silver blade on me. Too bad for him silver doesn't actually work on us. We make sure anyone who learns it's a myth doesn't live long enough to tell anybody else. You remember when it was all over the news that the owner of that private military contractor went missing?" He tapped the scar again as explanation to the rhetorical question. "Probably my most famous kill. Only one that ever made the news."

Her breath caught, Aria pushed down to meet his fingers that rested inside her. She smiled because she only felt his large fingers pushing in her soft heat. There was no hint of pain or soreness. Just a pleasurable thrumming of her blood acknowledging the effect of his presence.

Aria leaned her torso away from Varg and held herself in place with one hand on his shoulder as her other hand touched the large scar. "I'm glad you won. I'm glad that you are strong and swift. I don't want to lose you." She closed her eyes tight at the pang of fear. Shaking her head, her hair dancing for moments before falling down her back, she opened her eyes and her eyes burned with fierceness she has yet to show. "Varg, don't ever fail to return to me. Whatever you must do to come back. Come back to me. Always."

She slowly raised her nightshirt up, letting the material graze her in passing and, with a simple twist, freed herself from the shirt. Aria dropped it on the ground behind her. She held herself away by tensing her core, leaving her hands free to drag from below his prominent hip bones and up along the many curves and ridges of his chest. She kissed a tender trail up his breastbone and used her tongue to lave his right shoulder. Tasting him and biting into his shoulder enough to leave a mark. Her mark. Her hips rocked on his hand as she undulated to bring her skin to press into his. Kissing his jaw, she made a noise of contentment. "Tell me about you, my golden Wolf. How did you become who you are now? How do you know what to fight? What was it like for you to guard me?"
