Moral Conundrums

I personally took that gamble two years ago with a 10% chance of getting off the operating table. Alternative was death at moment and that was real as well. It came to me death has no schedule it can came at anytime let me take that % no matter how small ,,for I will be where I'm suppose to be at the ebd of the operation. Well, 8 hours, a full blood replace, put to sleep in ICU for four days and another 28 days in hospital....I am here with more time on the schedule then I had 2 two years ago.

Glad to see you are doing well....

Not sure if it constitutes a moral conundrum or not but I like the question so:

#5 You are shopping and notice a woman stuffing a pair of stockings into her purse. Do you report her? Why or why not?

If I acutally saw her take the stockings off the rack and stuff them furtively into her purse then I'm telling. I've actually done this after seeing two employees steal food from the supermarket by bagging the vegetables, weighing them having that priced and then adding more to the bag. I just didn't like the idea that they were thieves and that they were stealing from their employer.

I can imagine a scenario though where the stockings are hers and she needs to replace them in her bag: because she removed her list or her phone after entering the store and beginning her shopping and is now repacking her bag. This ought not to be done in the store but it happens. In the absence of being sure that I saw her sneak the stockings off the rack I would have no evidence that she stole them and would only have to hope that the shop's security cameras were working.

Wow... I'm glad it worked out for you.

#6. You find out your partner is having an affair. Would you be any more or less upset if you found out they were having an affair with someone of the same sex?
I should have titled this thread something different since most of these questions aren't really moral conundrums. Oh well.

I'd ask when the threesome is.

Nope ...

Cause I'm not the stores security.

#7 Which would you prefer, to be 100% emotionally content or 100% financially content for the rest of your life? Why?

I have been emotionally discontent for much of my life, I know the territory, and I can live with that because I'm tough. I'd rather be financially content. That way, I could do a lot of fun things I can't afford to do now. I also could afford all the medical help I'd need should my emotional discontent take a big toll on my health in the long run. And another great benefit of being financially content would be to never be beholden to anyone, to never need the financial support of others. Feeling you have to depend on someone to be able to get by is a sad way to have to live. True financial indepence is a type of emotionally bolstering security.

However, I know this throws the conundrum off completely, but I can say there's no way I'd default to be emotionally discontent by choosing to be 100% financially content. More money, more fun to be had available to me. More fun experienced, how could one still be emotionally discontent?

Love this thread. Keep the conundrums coming. :)
