Morning Coffee And Sweet Surprises (Closed to Poprockz)

Delvin watched with curious amusement as Cora put the drink near his nose, not thinking that would work. When Sabastian fell off the couch like a cat hearing a can of food opening, however, he let out a hardy laugh and sat his guitar down to give Cora a little clap, as if she had just performed a magic trick.

She grinned back at him, having taken a step back as soon as he started to wake up. Once Sabastian was a bit more lucid, she reached a hand down to help him stand up.

"Yes, it's more booze. No, you cannot chug it. I don't know if Dave will be willing to give us another drink later."

Once he was on his feet and actually awake, she handed him the drink with a big grin.

"Alright, now that you have your booze, what songs did you pick out? And when are we starting?"

She turned and took her own drink from Damien, then she wrapped her arm around his waist.

Jesse also laughed at their shenanigans, amused that Sabastian had such a nose for alcohol. Bernard and her dad Monty also chuckled a little.

Sabastian accepted her hand and let her help him up. Now that he was actually awake, he felt a bit embarrassed from falling out of his seat at the smell of alcohol. It just smelled so goddamn good he couldn't help it. His sense of smell was so much different from when he was human, and it almost felt like he had a dog's nose but stronger. Speaking of which, he could smell Cora's previous arousal, but they didn't stink of sex. He had wondered before falling asleep if that was what they were up to, but apparently he was wrong.

He took the drink from her and took a big whiff of it, sighing with satisfaction. "You're the best, Cora. I promise not to chug it... until later." The blonde man looked at her mischievously and took a sip from it, licking his lips with satisfaction.

The blonde man looked excited, "Okay, so we've got: Wonderland by Natalie Kills and Trespassing by Adam Lambert for you, and then I chose Looking at Me by Sabrina Carpenter, Dirty Little Pop Song by Aqua, and Sweet Dreams but the Weezer version for me. I thought we could also sing a duet of Good Time by Owl City and Carlie Rae Jepson. I've been trying to figure out a third song for you, but I haven't decided yet."

He took another sip of booze and shrugged, "and I'm not really sure when we're starting. I'm not sure how long I was asleep."

Bernard grinned, "it'll be about an hour and a half."

Damien looked like he was deep in thought, but he reflexively leaned against her, putting his own arm around her shoulder.

"Later" she agreed with a grin, figuring after they were done singing she would want to drink more too.

She listened and nodded her head, liking the choices in music and smiling at the duet choice. She really liked that song, and she wondered if they shouldn't sing that first to get the crowd kind of pumped up for the concert, but ultimately it would be up to the band, as they had the instruments.

"Hmm...a third song, huh?"

She really wasn't sure what else to sing. Thinking while she took a sip of her drink, her gaze turned to Damien.

"You have any suggestions?"

Damien shrugged, "I think you'd sound beautiful singing "One night" by Christina Perri. I actually love that song. No pressure, though. I don't want you to sing it because I like it." He looked away as though he felt uncomfortable suggesting something for her. It also wasn't something one might think he listened to, but he happened to be a fan of the singer.

It was a softer song though, and he wasn't sure it fit the vibe of the performance. He would never admit it, but there had been times, he had listened to it as he laid in bed. He had daydreamed about having someone want him like that, pretending that the song was for him. It made his heart ache with want, and yet it was comforting in a way like a promise that might someday be kept.

She cocked her head a little, trying to read that look on his face. Was he embarrassed about liking a song?

"Hmm...which one is that again? I can't quite remember."

Vin had been strumming some unknown tune, but when he heard Cora ask which song it was, he started playing it for her with the guitar and using his boot on the ground to act as a sort of drum. He had his eyes closed and his head down a little, as if listening to something far away.

She looked over, then listened carefully for a moment. Once she recognized it, she smiled and looked up into his grey eyes.

"You're right, that is a really beautiful song. Now I remember. Actually, I bet a lot of people would like that; it's a good slow dance song."

She wanted to ask him why he almost looked uncomfortable about the suggestion, but decided to leave it be for the moment. The room was a bit packed, and it might embarrass him if she tried to make him open up a little.

"Alright, well, I guess all that's left to do is wait until it's time. Did you guys want to do anything before the show starts?" she asks, not really talking to anyone in particular.

"Get some more food or anything?"

Vin seemed pretty content to just sit there, strumming on the guitar softly, so she didn't really expect an answer from him. Tommy seemed a little hyper, but at the same time, hesitant to get up. She wasn't sure if it was because he wanted to hang around Vin, or because if he left the room they might decide to throw him duty or something.

Sabastian's attention was drawn by Vin's playing, impressed that he could so quickly switch songs. How many songs did the man know, or was he simply able to play it from remembering the melody? Either way, for someone with such strong hands, they moved with such grace and finesse. He found that he could watch and listen to the man play all day long. He sipped on his drink and looked back at Cora as he tried not to think more about the hunk with the guitar.

When Cora said she would be fine singing it, Damien got a a look on his face as though he was barely able to contain how secretly pleased he was. His eyes lit up and while his smile was small, it was obvious that he was eagerly looking forward to it. "I can't wait," he said simply, his voice soft.

Jesse looked up and said, "hey Cora, can I talk to you outside for a sec?"

Once she was able to get Cora outside, she turned to her and leaned forward in a conspiratory manner, "hey, I know I'm being nosey as fuck right now, but do you know why the pirate like straight-up turned Vin down? They seem like they'd be really cute together, but things are kind of like awkward between them right now." The girl looked a bit guilty to be basically gossiping, but it was obvious she wasn't doing so out of malice.

Cora had given Damien a little squeeze around his waist, but when Jesse asked to talk to her, she reluctantly disentangled herself from him and stepped outside with her.

A sad look set on her face when Jesse asked her question, as she hadn't known Sabastian had straight up told Vin no. She wondered when Vin had asked the little blond, trying to think back on the car ride and when exactly it had gotten awkward. She couldn't remember though, and she supposed it didn't matter now.

She wished that Sabastian hadn't shot him down so quickly, as he deserved to be happy, but at the same time, she tried to put herself in his shoes. Remembering what Damien had said in the car, about them not really knowing how it worked yet, she could understand. Unfortunately, it only showed how much Sabastian had cared about Vin if he wouldn't even let him get casually close, and she hurt for her new friend. It made her all the more determined to help him as soon as she had the chance.

"Well, Jesse..."

She sighed, suddenly choosing to lean up against the building and look out at the compound. How much could she say without breaking Sabastians right to privacy? And how could she put it in a way that the young girl would understand and be empathetic?

"Sabastian uh... He didn't really have a choice. He likes Delvin a lot, but he didn't want to hurt him. He has some personal things that he's dealing with right now that Vin might not understand, and until Sabastian can work through those things and figure out if he still wants to have a partner, after he has figured them out, then it's better that he not let Vin get close and attached. If he were to let him get close right now, before he has everything sorted out, he might end up hurting Vin quite badly later, and you don't hurt people you love, if you can avoid it."

She met the girls eyes then, hoping she would both understand and maybe accept it as one of those 'grown up' things that were just really difficult to understand until you had the experience.

While Cora spoke, the young woman looked a bit sad as well, thinking deeply about what was being said. Jesse nodded, seemingly understanding what she was trying to say, “okay. Like emotional baggage or something like that. “

She sighed and shook her head. “That sucks. I wish things were more simple.” Jesse smiled sadly, “thanks for clearing that up. I just wanted to borrow you for a moment to see if maybe there was another reason or if the little guy was just stubborn. Here, let’s head back in.”

Jesse opened the door and held it open for Cora, then walked over to the chest of costumes to dig through it a little.

Damien raised his eyebrow at Cora, wondering what they might have talked about. Jesse seemed like a nice girl, but he had no idea what she might have wanted to say that she couldn’t have said in view of the rest of them.

She let out a small breathe of relief when Jesse didn't question it further and followed her back inside. When she saw the look on Damiens face, all she could manage was a sad little smile and a shrug of her shoulders. She was tempted to brush it off as something simple, like girl problems, but she figured the truth would come out sooner or later. Still, she didn't feel comfortable sharing things that weren't hers to be shared.

"I'll tell you later" she said quietly as she came to stand next to him again. She led him to the couch then, hoping she wouldn't have to, and that Sabastian would be the one to actually say something.

While they waited for the time to pass, she chatted with Vin about music, and Tommy about media. The boy seemed to be happy to talk about movies and video games and required very little from her to keep the conversation going. She left the phone with Sabastian, partly fearing that if she went digging through it, she would be tempted to look at her pictures, and that would just crush her mood even further.

Damien gave her a concerned look, but didn't push her once she told him it was a discussion for later. He simply followed her over to the couch and sat down, sliding his arm around her waist and pulling her against him so he could feel her close. After their little conversation in the bathroom, he felt more bonded to her than ever, not wanting to pass up an opportunity to hold her.

Sipping his drink in one of the chairs, Sabastian was also curious as to why Cora would be taken outside by the only other girl here. Had they been engaged in the traditional "girl talk?" If so, there really wasn't too much that wasn't out in the open about Cora and Damien, so maybe Jesse was expressing worry or sadness at a recent crush of her own. In any case, Cora seemed to have been saddened a bit by it, and he simply couldn't have that.

He let them chat for a while, hoping that Cora might feel better, but he got the sense that she was still down so he did what any good friend would do: try to cheer her up. The man had consumed about a third of the concoction in his cup, so he was feeling pretty good and drunk. His eyes blinked dreamily and he stood up for a moment, moving to the couch and laying across Cora and Damien's laps.

"Coooraaaa..." he whined, "you should sing Baby Got Back later. I'd sing it with you..." He stretched out and let his torso slide slightly so that he was almost hanging off Damien's side of his lap. "I like big butts and I cannot lie, you othah brothahs can't deny, that when a chick walks in with an itty bitty waist and a round thing in your face you get SPRUNG! Wanna pull up tough cuz you notice that butt was stuffed!" At this point, Sabastian erupted into a fit of giggles. "butt-stuffed."

His embarrassment, shyness and general grumpiness were put to the side for now, the booze making him a lot looser.

Tommy had finally grown tired of chatting and had just left to take a bathroom break when Sabastian suddenly draped himself across their laps. Her eyes widened in surprise for a moment, but once she heard his request, she started laughing.

"What in the world are you doing?"

She leaned over to whisper in Damien's ear briefly, telling him to take Sabastian's drink away, and then turned her attention back to the adorable little man. She wasn't the only one wondering what he was up to, as Vin had seen him walk over and drape himself over her lap. He had a feeling he knew what it was going to lead to, so before he got hard watching Sabastian be playful on top of the beautiful women, he stood up and made his way to the door.

"I'll be back, I'm going to grab myself another beer. You guys want anything?"

Cora looked up, and still laughing, pointed at Sabastian.

"Water" was all she said, before turning her attention back to the blond and waiting for Vin to shut the door behind him.

"Alright mister, you can't just go laying on people without their permission."

Her hands, very cold from holding her own drink, snake under the back of his shirt. She had been taking sipps as well, though she hadn't had nearly as much as him. It was enough to feel relaxed, though, so if Sabastian wanted to play, she would play.

She lets her fingers splay out, then she lays them both flat against his back and pushes them down, letting the cold seep in for a few seconds. Then, before Sabastian can get away, she looks at Damien with a big grin and says "grab his arms!"

Her cold fingers then slide to his sides where she starts to ruthlessly tickle him up and down, only willing to slow if he begs for mercy.

Damien was surprised when Sabastian stretched out over their laps like a cat vying for their attention. He wasn't used to casual friendly contact with people, so the man laying across his legs was a bit odd for him. However, Cora's laugh made it all worth it. He relaxed and gave her a conspiratorial wink.

"Cooooraaa... I don't need water. I need..." He seemed to lose his train of thought as he watched Vin leave for the bar. His face went into a little pout for a moment. "Aw. The good-smelling man is gone."

The steely haired vampire took the opportunity to grab the water bottle and hide it behind himself, Sabastian being distracted by Vin's departure. Now the booze was safely tucked away from the little booze-hound.

Sabastian grinned at her when she told him he needed permission, his grin flippant as he looked at her. When he started to feel her fingers, however, his eyes widened and he yipped, arching his back just as Damien grabbed his wrists. When the tickling started, Sabastian writhed, his strength forgotten. Her graceful fingers made him giggle, the blonde man's eye watering a little.

"CORAAA! Nooo! You'll never make me talk!" Sabastian choked out.

Cora's tickling intensified as she started to work her way up his sides and towards the sensitive flesh just above the ribs. Right before she reached it, she paused briefly.

"If you confess that you are a pirate, then I may tell your jailer to let you loose. Otherwise, suffer the consequences!"

She waited, her fingers ready to strike if he dared to disagree.

The man wriggled desperately, he fingers making him laugh and giggle like a little schoolgirl. When she finally gave him a reprieve, he panted and closed his eye for a second until he heard he request.

His mouth opened then closed, his face pouting as he tried to decide on whether to give in to her. One of her fingers moved a bit and he flinched, his resolve breaking.

"I'm a pirate..." he mumbled, barely audible.

"What's that? I don't think anybody heard you." Damien teased, a little sly smile on his face.

Sabastian groaned and then reluctantly answered, "fuck... okay okay. I'm- I'm a pirate! Okay?" His cheeks were pink as he gave Cora a playfully grumpy look. His shirt had ridden up a little bit, showing how pale he was on his feminine hips.

"Alright jailor, we have a confession, let him go."

She pulled his shirt back down for him and helped him off their laps, still laughing a little at his shenanigans. Once he was up, Cora looked out the window at the setting sun. It was probably getting about time to start setting up, and that realization made her nerves a little jittery again. She was also excited though, and she took a few sips of her drink purely for the enjoyment of it.

"So Jesse, what song are you guys starting with? Are you mixing it up, or we starting off fast and going to slow, or slow to fast?"

The door opened and Tommy stepped inside with his gun slung over his shoulder. He looked a little bit like he was pouting almost, and when Vin stepped through the door a moment later, Cora found out why.

"Hey, he's letting you perform your song before you have to go back on. He could have just told you no and made you stay on duty for the rest of the night."

"Oh woop-eey!" Tommy said, throwing his hands up.

"One song! I'm not even going to get any time to party with everyone else!"

"Sure you will. What you think the party will stop before the sun comes up?"

Tommy crossed his arms and looked away, causing Vin to just shake his head and smile. He definitely didn't need to be down there.

"Roger that, commander." Damien grinned and let him go, watching as the man stuck his tongue out at Damien before letting Cora pull down his shirt.

Sabastian looked around in confusion, "where'd my booze go? It was right here!" He looked at the little coffee table as though he was trying to wrack his brain for how it could have possibly escaped him. He looked around and then got on his hands and knees, looking under the table before scooting close to the couch and looking under it. When he saw nothing there, he simply sighed and laid there for a moment, his chest to the ground and his ass up.

The younger woman thought for a moment and answered, "Well, I think we're going to go fast to slow, letting the DJ take over after to get people pumped up again." Jesse smiled excitedly, having donned a doll costume with striped leggings and a cute little goth dress.

When the door opened, Damien looked over, noticing at once the annoyed look on Tommy's face. The conversation that followed was interesting, and he thought he almost caught a more paternal look on Vin's face. He had to agree on the fact that while Tommy was an adult, it was probably better for him to stay out of the drunk stampede of a crowd of army men and survivors.

In his drunkness, the carpet felt a bit cool and comfortable, the energy to get up having the small blonde man for a few moments. Where in the world had the bottle gone- he simply couldn't wrap his head around it. A familiar smell entered his nostrils and he realized Vin was in the room. Part of him (the drunk part) wanted to shake his ass from side to side for him, but his shyer side won out. He immediately got up onto his hands before sitting back, leaning his back against the coffee table.

Cora tried to ignore Sabastian as he got down, but she couldn't keep the smile off her face as she nodded in agreement with Jesse.

Vin was having a hard time ignoring him as well, having saw him down on the ground with his ass up in the air. He used his guitar as an excuse to go sit down, but really he was just trying to walk a bit to get his junk in a more comfortable position. After he sat down and saw the way that Sabastian was leaning up against the table, he cocked an eyebrow at him.

"Are you going to be able to sing when we start?"

He didn't like that he was so drunk already. The night had barely begun, and yet the little blond was acting ten shots and a bottle in. He knew he had no right over what he did, but he wanted to order him not to drink anymore. Or dance. God, but he didn't want to see him dancing with some other guy.

Tommy had taken a seat as well, still pouting a little about being left out, but when he looked up and finally took the time to look around, he noticed the outfit the little goth girl was wearing. His eyes went a little wide, and in a very sincere tone born only of his tongue working faster than his brain, he said:

"Wow, you look beautiful Jesse."

Suddenly he didn't feel near as grouchy. If he got to sing up on stage with that beautiful doll, then it was kinda worth it.

Sabastian looked at Vin and shrugged, "don't worry about me, Voodoo man. I'll probably be sober before the night is up." It was a pity too. He had consumed half a bottle of vodka at the cabin and yet he was still sober about six hours later. His fast metabolism prevented him from experiencing a full night of bad decisions and drunk embarrassment. At the very least he could get a little bit of that if he kept drinking on that bottle. If he could find it, at least. Damien smelled slightly like booze, but he couldn't tell if it was just because of Cora being close to him.

He got up and looked around the room, his hunt continuing on.

Tommy's comment about how she looked made Jesse blush, the girl giving him a pleased smile. "Thanks! I thought the doll outfit would be perfect, so I'm glad it fits. You're looking pretty handsome yourself, Tommy." It almost seemed like a somewhat casual response, but it was obvious she was really happy that Tommy had noticed. The smile simply wouldn't leave her face as she looked back at her phone, trying not to embarrass herself by looking at him for too long.

When she first met the boy with a heart of gold, she had wondered if maybe he was just really naïve and immature. But over time she had come to find his cheerfulness and bravery as charming, something she admired.

Damien caught the star-struck way he looked at Jesse, recognizing it in himself. He smiled to himself and leaned more toward Cora, wondering whether she was feeling nervous or not.

"Sabastian," Cora tried to get his attention, hoping she could distract the little hound before he sniffed out the fruity concoction.

"Maybe you should start getting ready. Straighten your clothes a little and see what song you're doing first. Or are we doing the duet first?"

She looked at Jesse as well, not sure of the line-up. She felt Damien lean against her, and while she certainly liked it, it couldn't really distract her from the bubbling giddiness that was starting to work up into her chest. She gave him a little squeeze on his hand, but she felt as if her pulse were starting to race, despite the alcohol working to slow it.

Delvin stood up, having managed to tame his erection, and wiped his guitar down with his shirt. He was starting to feel the excitement as well, and while not nervous like Cora, he was definitely too full of energy now to sit still.

Letting the guitar hang down with the strap, he took his hat off and sat it on the chair for a moment. With quick, nimble movements, he took his long hair in his fingers and worked it into a tight braid. When it was done, he used a rubber band to tie it off and adjusted the hat back on. Later, when Tommy wanted him to perform the cover of Zombie, he planned to pull it loose for added effect.

Tommy hadn't been able to answer Jesse at the time, but her little comment about him looking hansem gave him such a jolt of energy that he felt like he just drank a pot of coffee. He couldn't sit still anymore, and he wondered how he hadn't noticed before how beautiful she was.

Sabastian rolled his eyes at Cora, "straighten my clothes? What, are we going to perform in a Catholic school?" He smirked, but stood up anyway and retucked the undershirt into his pants. Once that was done, he was about to resume his search before Jesse put down her phone and answered.

"I was thinking we'd do the duet first so that both of you can get used to being on stage. Then we can trade back and forth between the two of you, giving you a chance to rest in between each song. In the middle, Tommy is going to perform, and then we'll finish off with the slow-dance song. Here." Jesse got up and went to the couch, sitting on Cora's left and showing her the list of songs and the order in which they would be performed.

"If you ever feel super uncomfortable, you can point to me and hype me up, and I'll do a drum solo to cover you." The woman smiled, her short, choppy pigtails bouncing slightly

Damien looked over with interest, taking in the playlist and nodding.

The little pirate watched Vin pace and was interested by the manner in which the man braided his hair so quickly. Sabastian had never had long hair, but he still rarely saw anyone who could braid their own hair. It was a simply thing, but it was impressive. He liked the man's hair down, but it was charming to see up as well. Damn he was hot. He couldn't help but think that to himself every now and then, finally looking around and sitting a chair. The man slumped down a bit in a pout and said, "I'm thirsty..."

Cora just gave him a grin before turning her attention to Jesse.

"Sounds good, I might have to have you save me at some point."

When Sabastian mentioned being thirsty, Vin grabbed the glass of water that Cora had requested earlier. It was still ice cold and had a little slice of lemon and a mint leaf, to jazz it up a bit. Walking over to the little blond, he handed it to him with a soft smile.

"That oughta help. It'll help you sing better too" he winked, towering over the man.

Tommy listened to the song choices, and when his part was mentioned, he grinned.

"Don't forget about Vin. Vin has to sing, at least once."

If the voodoo man wasn't so focused on making sure Sabastian got some water into him, he would have responded with something funny. Right at that moment, however, Sabastian had his full attention. He couldn't turn his gaze away from that beautiful face, even though his own didn't reveal much beyond that casual smile.

Jesse nodded, but Damien shook his head and smiled, "maybe, but I don't think so. I think you'll kill it tonight. If you need any support, I'll be right there in the front row watching you." He hoped that was encouraging for her and didn't put more pressure on Cora. "No matter what you do, I'll enjoy every minute of it."

Sabastian perked up a bit when he saw Vin coming over with a glass of liquid. He moved up from his slumped position and accepted the glass, having completely forgotten that Cora sent him out for water.

"Will it now?" he responded, amused at the suggestion.

With the lemon and the sprig of mint, Sabastian imagined that it might simply be a drink made with vodka and simple syrup or something, so he took a tentative sip. When he realized it was just water, he made a face, shook his head, and leaned over to set the glass down on the table behind Vin. The whole point of tonight was to let loose and get fucked up, the water certainly wouldn't help with that. With his fast metabolism and the water combined, he would loose the very pleasant intoxication he had going on.

"Thanks but no thanks. I'm not that thirsty. Not for water, anyway." He leaned back and crossed his arms. While some might see Vin as an intimidating figure standing tall and muscly, the blonde was only uncomfortable with the man being so close. He was very much resisting the urge to lean forward and wrap his arms around the man's torso and take a long breath of the man's scent. That would be terribly embarrassing though, not to mention cruel, so he looked away from the man's soft smile.

Her gaze turned to him and she gave him a soft little smile.

"Right in the front row, huh? People might get jealous if I can't take my eyes off you."

She was trying to joke, but the idea did comfort her. If she got too scared, all she would have to do was look down and see his smiling face.

Vin chuckled at his reaction, as if he had handed him something sour and unpleasant.

"You can drink water and alcohol at the same time, but hey, suit yourself."

He then reached back and took the water himself, more than happy to have something cold to drink up on stage.

Damien's smile grew a bit and he gave her a little kiss on the nose. "I'm not sure that's a bad thing. After all, they can look all they want, but at the end of the night, I'll be the one taking you home." He seemed proud of that fact, happy that he could speak those words and that they were true. He didn't much care what anyone else thought as long as he held her affections.

Sabastian watched him take the water for himself. Why in the world did he now want the water more than anything? Was this some kind of reverse psychology bullshit? His mouth watered and he watched the glass for a moment or two, his eyes flicking back and forth between the liquid and the Vin's lips. A little scene in his head played in his head where Vin took a drink and pressed his lips to Sabastian's forcing him to drink the cool liquid from the man's hot mouth.

He got up from his chair and quickly headed for the door before Vin could see Sabastian's pink cheeks. The man was too stubborn to admit he wanted it now, and he didn't want to take it from Vin who seemed to want to drink it himself. "I'll be right back," the blonde called over his shoulder as he exited the room and looked around. He just needed to get a bit of fresh air is all. Sabastian shook his head, trying to get that image to go away. It wouldn't, so he sighed and walked to the side of the building, just around the corner.

Carefully, he lowered himself to the pavement so that he was sitting there with his back against the building, his arms resting on his knees. He patted his own cheeks roughly, muttering to himself, "good mood, gotta keep it going." His hand hesitated, then went up to caress his eyepatch, wondering if this was what his life was going to be like

Cora blinked when he kissed her nose, and then she blushed a little at his words before leaning in to rest her head against his chest. She reached her right hand down to take hold of his, and then she lifted it in the air slightly.

"Take me home tonight,

I don't wanna let you go til I see the light~
"

Ok, so maybe she had drank a little more than she thought she had. Did she regret that? Not one bit. Infact, the nervousness, giddy energy was melting into something a little more warm and soothing. She could do this, and it would be fun. It didn't matter if it was a hundred people staring at her or only him; she would give it her all.

After playing for a minute more with Damien's hand, Cora looked around and noticed how everyone seemed to be up and ready to go. She snuggled into Damien's chest for a minute more, then started to stand up herself. She adjusted her clothes and made sure the hair extensions were clipped in properly, then took a deep breath and let it out as she bounced on the balls of her feet a few times. It was just about show time.

Delvin watched with a bit of a mischievous twinkle in his eye as he took a long drink of water, trying to tempt the little man into wanting some himself. He seemed to be more stubborn than he originally thought, however, as instead of just asking for some, he turned tail and ran out the door leaving Vin standing there with the water in his hand and a bit of a blank look on his face. After a beat or two, he shrugged it off and just drained the glass.
