Morning Coffee And Sweet Surprises (Closed to Poprockz)

Damien put his arm around her and petted her hair as she sang softly. She had such a beautiful voice, and he knew he would never grow tired of hearing it. He found it adorable that she was playing with his hand, raising it and holding it gently. He savored it until she gave him one last snuggle and stood up, the man following suit. She looked a little calmer, but he himself was getting a bit excited and nervous. He hoped nothing happened to her up there, but was really excited to hear her perform.

After a few minutes of sitting outside and watching the sunset, Sabastian figured it was time to go back inside. After all, he didn't want to miss the show. Getting up, he stretched and dusted off his pants before walking around the corning and entering the room again. His eyes went to the glass of water and noticed it was empty. Ah well, at least that made it easier to ignore that craving.

He walked in and went over to Cora and Damien, still smelling the same fruity scent on Damien. The blonde man narrowed his eyes and looked at them, waiting for them to get up. If Damien had his booze, he wouldn't be able to hide it when he stood up.

Sure enough, when Damien got up, the bottle was visible from behind where he was sitting. It was wedged in between the back of the couch and the cushion, and Sabastian simply waited for his moment to strike, pretending not to look at it while slowly getting closer.

Cora wasn't paying too much attention to Sabastian, simply watching as the other band members got themselves ready. That was until she looked over at Vin with an easy smile, and the bigger man gave a subtle nod of his head towards the couch.

At first she thought he was nodding towards Damien and she looked over her shoulder, a little confused. Then she realized what had his attention, as her hazel eyes caught Sabastian inching closer and closer to the bottle.

"Oh no you don't you little booze hound!"

She hopped around Damien and snatched the bottle up, holding it up high out of his reach. A big grin was on her face, but she knew he was going to be mad.

"You can drink with me in between songs, I promise. Besides, don't you want to save it for when we're done performing, and then you can chug it and get really plastered?"

Her eyes met his gaze, hoping he would see the logic behind her reasoning. If he really wanted to get fucked up he would have to drink a lot all at once, otherwise he would just burn it all off and be sober by the time he got out to the dance floor.

At first Sabastian moved quickly, perhaps surprisingly so for how intoxicated he presumably was. However, he was not quick enough to grab it before it was high over Cora's head. He cursed his shortness, not able to reach it with his arms outstretched above himself.

The man was just about to whine about his booze when he listened to her.

He stopped and thought for a moment. If he drank all of it now, he would be smashed for a good portion of the performance, but it might wear off by the time he got to dance in the crowd itself. If he drank in between sessions, he probably wouldn't achieve the level of intoxication he wanted, even if it did prolong things. She was right in suggesting that he chug it all afterwards, achieving maximum effect even if it was at the cost of him performing less drunk than he wanted to.

With a reluctant nod, he lowered his hands and sighed. "You're right... But I swear to god if that booze goes missing by the time the show is over and I don't get to drink it, I am not above getting a member of the audience to sneak me drinks."

His expression relaxed a bit and he grinned, "man, this performance is going to be sick."

They all heard the faint sound of a crowd cheering, an announcer talking into the microphone and talking about the festivities during the night, including safety tips, and an insert from their local bartender that he urged them to drink responsibly.

Jesse jumped on the balls of her feet too, her pigtails bobbing excitedly. "We should go to the stage door!" She led them down the hall to a door, taking deep breaths to prepare herself as she held her drumsticks in hand.

Cora sat the booze down on the coffee table and then gave Sabastian a little salute.

"Yes Captain!"

When they heard the cheer of the crowd outside, Cora swallowed a little and gave her hands a little shake. She still had the big grin on her face, but this would be the first time she ever saw a large crowd from the position of the stage looking down.

They all followed them to the door. Cora stood with Sabastian, looking down at him with a nervous grin very briefly before looking back at the door. She had to remind herself that she was mostly doing this for Damien, for the man she loved, so she had to sing without holding back. She had waisted too much of her life doing that. Tonight there would be no fear; no regrets.

Tommy and Vin stood behind them, as they were going to hang back a bit until called up on que by the main band members. Vin wasn't sure which songs they wanted him to perform on, so he would simply wait until they gave him a sign of some sort. He was jazzed though, a big smile revealing his pearly whites and adding to the effect of the painted skull.

When he had heard the announcement, Damien had slipped out of the room, heading to another door he had noticed that said, "stage lower/crowd." He opened it and poked his head out, seeing that it indeed led to the crowd right next to the stage. The man slipped out and made his way to the very front, people surprisingly willing to move for him. He wondered if it might be the costume catching them off-guard, but he wasn't sure.

He stood in the middle at the very front, waiting eagerly for them to come on stage. The man hoped that Cora would be able to spot him easily, wringing his hands nervously as he waited.

Sabastian looked up at her and smiled, taking her hand in his and giving her a little reassuring squeeze to let her know that he was right there with her. To be honest, he was feeling a bit nervous himself, but the booze was helping quite a bit. He figured that if life as he knew it was over since his affliction, he really didn't have much to lose. After all, they were leaving the next day.

Even so, it felt like electricity was going through his veins, the adrenaline pumping as he waited.

"And now, what you've been waiting for, the band is coming onstage to perform just for you!" The announcer said loudly, the crowd roaring in response. Jesse took the queue and confidently strode on stage, raising her drumsticks to cheers from the crowd. Bernard got in place with his guitar and the other man got in place with the keyboard, a base guitar around his chest for certain songs.

Sabastian kept ahold of Cora's hand, emboldened by the comfort of it as he walked on stage in the lead, bringing her to center stage with him where the two microphone stands were set up.

Cora was glad Sabastian had a hold of her hand, otherwise she might have ran. She walked with him, trying to keep the smile plastered on her face, but when she saw just how many people there were her knees started to shake a little. Without meaning to, she started squeezing Sabastians hand a little roughly.

Vin came through the door, then immediately moved to the shadow near the back with Tommy to wait his turn. This wasn't the first time he had been on a stage and while he felt electric, and alive, he didn't mirror the women's nervousness. He watched her carefully though, looking for signs of stage fright, and when she slowly turned her gaze back over her shoulder, he saw it. The poor girl's face was almost white, and she looked like she wanted to puke.

He moved over a bit so that he was in her line of sight, and then he pointed a finger at his own face, his eyes, specifically, and then pointed to the crowd. When Cora caught his gaze, she turned her own eyes back nervously to where he was pointing, and then she saw him.

Standing there amongst what must have been at least two hundred people, he shone like a spotlight in the dark, the outfit making him stand out amongst the casually dressed partiers and soldiers. When she locked her own hazel eyes with his soft steel ones, she felt strong. No, more than that. She felt fucking invincible.

Looking over at Sabastian with a new found confidence, she raised both their hands in the air and shook them, letting out a cheer with the crowd. Then she laughed and lowered them and shot Jesse a look. She was ready to do this.

Sabastian might have winced at how hard she was holding his hand if he hadn't been a bit nervous himself. The slight pain of her grip kept him grounded and reminded him that she was on the same stage and that if he fucked up, she could help him out. When she raised their hands, he let out a little "whoo!" himself, grinning as he let out a breath. He too saw Damien, and he was glad that Cora had someone to focus on. He might end up focusing on Damien for a bit too, just in case.

Jesse got the signal and leaned into her own microphone, "ladies and gentlefucks, our first song for you is going to be "It's always a good time," Because tonight, we're hoping that everyone has the time of their lives!" It almost seemed like Jesse was the unspoken leader of the group, her confidence and charisma standing out from the other two members. Tossing a drumstick in the air, it flipped a couple times before she caught it and started in on the drums, the other two going with their own instruments, the electric piano being used for this one.

Damien looked up at Cora, admiring her on stage. She looked so damn beautiful, the punk rock outfit making her look like she belonged up there. However, he could see that she looked a bit shaken, and he was a bit worried until they locked eyes in that moment, he smiled widely and mouthed, "I love you."

Sabastian gulped, missing the two lead-in sentences of the song from sheer nervousness, but once it was time for the main lyrics, he surprised himself by launching into them with relatively little shake in his voice.

"Woke up on the right side of the bed. What's up with this Prince song inside my head? Hands up if you're down to get down tonight... Cuz it's always a good time." Once those words were out, he felt a little bit better, as though the spell had been broken a bit.

Cora kept her eyes trained on Damien, her smile having changed from nervous to excited. When Sabastian sang out the second verse and it was nearing her part of the song, she turned her gaze to him and tried to give him an encouraging smile before stepping up to her own mic. She placed both her hands on it softly and swallowed so her throat wouldn't be dry. And then she sang.

"Good morning and goodnight, I wake up at twilight..."

She looked over to Sabastian and smiled even more broadly as he joined her, and she started to tap her foot against the concrete floor. She didn't dare look out over the crowd just yet, waiting until they were more into the song.

Letting her hips rock a little as she sang felt good, and it made her giggle a little to let out the loud "woo!" in the middle of the song. As she came back up to the mic to sing, her nerves weren't nearly as strong.

"Feet down dropped my phone in the pool again,
Checked out of my room hit the ATM,
Let's hang out if you're down to get down tonight,
Cause it's always a good time!
"

She gave Sabastian a wink, then stepped back and let her hands go over her head to clap to the beat for a minute.

Vin had sat his guitar back against the wall, and while he was still hanging back in the shadows, he was clapping along with them and tapping his own feet. They sounded amazing singing together, and now that they had the full open air and not the confines of the car, he could tell they were giving it their all and not holding anything back.

By the time the song was done, Sabastian was feeling more confident than before. At times he would jump excitedly, waving his arms to the music to get the crowd going. He loved the way it felt to be up onstage with Cora- her presence made him feel much safer. He felt much more sure of himself, and even enjoyed the way the crowd cheered for them. Though his sober self might have shied away from this, his drunk self was loving the attention.

When their song was over, the crowd cheered. Whooping and clapping could be heard along with random shoutings. One person shouted, "sexy bitch!" and Damien frowned, trying to see who said that but to no avail. Ah well, she certainly was the loveliest lady there so as long as they didn't shout anything too obscene, he would have to let it slide for tonight. He shook his head and looked up at her, still clapping harder than anyone there. The man smiled and gave her two thumbs up.

"Whoo! How was that, guys?! I'd say that was pretty fuckin' great myself! Well, stick around folks and you'll get much more live music tonight. Speaking of which, here's the lovely Cora singing "Wonderland" by Natalie Kills!" Jesse called into the microphone to keep the crowd riled up. They cheered excitedly, waiting for the next song to start.

Sabastian patted Cora's shoulder encouragingly before jogging over to Vin's corner, tucking himself away a bit so that Cora could have the stage to herself. Jesse looked over to Cora, ready to jump in whenever Cora needed help, the song starting up.

Sabastian's energy was almost contagious, and at times she cheered with him, not minding the attention too much herself. She had finally gathered up the courage to look out at the crowd when he put his arms up to get everyone pumped up, and what she had seen didn't frighten her nearly as much as when she had first stepped out.

All of those people were survivors and soldiers. All of them shared a burden of sadness and courage, and in the same way that she had been excited for Vin to play his guitar-these people were excited to hear them sing, and for a moment, only a moment, forget.

As Sabastian came to the back, both Vin and Tommy gave him a clap on the back and congratulated him on performing so well. Vin especially looked to be pleased with the way the little man had bellowed it out with such courage and fun, truly feeling the stage atmosphere.

Back up front, Cora's eyes moved down to Damien once again as the music began to play, and she took the mic from its stand, wanting to walk around a bit with this song.

"I'm not Snow White, but I'm lost inside this forest,"

She let her voice ring out clear and true as she stood back a bit, occasionally looking up at the crowd of people as they danced. It was a little difficult to keep a full smile while singing the lyrics, but between the deeper breaths and small pauses she would turn and give Jesse, Vin, Sabastian, and Tommy little flashes. It was so much fun to be up on stage with them all and she knew this was going to be one of those stories that would be told over and over.

She walked up closer to the front of the stage, though she was careful not to get too close encase someone was already a little too drunk and feeling grabby. She crouched down just a little, giving Damien her full attention and a big, loving smile.

"You be the beast and I'll be the beauty beauty,
Who needs true love, as long as ya love me truly?~
"

She wrapped the cord through her hand as she stood up and walked back to the center of the stage, putting a little sway and feistiness into her step before turning around and gripping the mic with both hands. She sang with her eyes closed for a few verses and then slowly opened them to look out on the crowd.

"When I lay my head down to go to sleep at night,
My dreams consist of things that'd make you wanna hide,
"

Delvin leaned down to Sabastian and spoke in his ear.

"She's really feeling that song isn't she?"

He had a huge grin on his face, and he seemed excited even though he had his arms crossed over his chest and was leaning back against the wall in a casual manner.

"Look at the way she's throwing her movements into it."

And she was, closing her eyes and shaking her head as she sang "I don't believe in fairy tales".

Her eyes opened then, after repeating the line a few more times, and then she pointed at Damien.

"But I believe in you and me!~
Take me to Wonderland, take me to, take me to Wonderland!~
"

She gave him a big grin then and started walking around the stage as she finished the song. When it was done she used her right hand to make a little gun-cocking air motion, then took a pose and used her fingers to 'shoot' out at the crowd.

As she put the mic back in it's stand, she was laughing. She blew Damien a kiss, and then jogged back to join Tommy and Vin, giving Sabastian an excited half hug as he passed by her.

Tommy and Vin's congratulations gave Sabastian a pleased smile. He liked that Vin almost seemed proud of his performance, and that made him feel so good about himself.

Damien looked up at her as she started the song, a big smile on his face as she started. The song was a sexy one, and he couldn't help but think of how it was a good thing they were leaving tomorrow. Otherwise, he would have to beat off all of her potential suitors with a stick.

When her eyes met his, his heart fluttered in excitement. It felt electric whenever she would turn her attention to him. Of course she looked out at the crowd too, but it felt to him like he was the only person she truly looked at and that made him feel like the happiest man in the world. Her voice was drop-dead gorgeous and he wished he could record it and listen to it over and over again. A few of her lines also felt like she was singing them for him and that made him speechless. All he could do was look up at her with a star-struck expression, a big grin on his face.

Vin's whisper in his ear caused Sabastian to glance at him for a moment. It almost made him shiver, the man's hot breath on his sensitive little ear, but he kept himself from looking too affected, taking a leaf from Cora's book and keeping his expression neutral.

"Yeah, she looks like a real fucking rockstar." He grinned, enjoying watching her perform. Sabastian had to admit that Cora was quite the badass.

Damien looked at her proudly as she pointed at him. Of all the people there, it was he that held her affection- he was so fucking lucky. When she blew a kiss at him, he beamed, "catching" it and blowing her a kiss as well. He was almost sad to see her walk offstage

Sabastian accepted her half hug as he looked at Jesse who nodded.

"And now, we've got Sabastian again with "Dirty little Pop Song." Remember, no climbing onto the stage, no matter how hot our performers are." She grinned at Sabastian.

The blonde man shook his head and jogged up to the stage, leaving his microphone in its stand as he started singing.

"DJ DJ on the floor, who's your slutty little whore, my DJ? Mah mah my DJ?" He grinned and played it up, giving the crowd a wink as he sang.

"I'm just a dirty little pop song, that's running through your brain. And even though you know it's so wrong, you're gunna love going insane!" Sabastian raised his hand and spun his finger to the lyrics, moving his shoulders and hips to the beat. He looked like he was having a really fun time singing it, and he certainly was. The man wasn't sure why, but he was starting to feel a bit odd in a way that he couldn't put his finger on, as though he had taken another shot of booze.

In any case, he still kept it light and fun throughout the song, using his arms and hands mostly to articulate the lyrics. His boyish voice was flirty and playful, and the crowd responded well to it.

When he finally finished, he took a bow and waved to the crowd before retreating. He grinned at Cora and gave her a high-five, feeling excited that he had done so well.

After Sabastian had come to back/side stage, Jesse clicked off her regular microphone and pushed the button on her headset microphone. "Is it on? Haha, excellent. Well then, now that we've gotten that good vibe started, let's keep it going! Now, I'm going to be doing a song, so you guys better cheer, you got it?"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMVWXC17wwA

The punk girl grinned and started to sing while one of the guitars played. Her drumsticks were still for a moment, before she started into the song for real. Jesse looked pretty badass playing the drums with ease as she sang into the headset. Her stage presence gave the impression that she had done this before.

When it was done, she held up a drumstick and the crowd cheered loudly. "Whew! Thanks! Now that I've had my bit of spotlight, please welcome Cora to the stage again with "Trespassing!" If you feel like you're getting too intoxicated by her fucking awesome performance, please see Dave the bartender for a glass of water."

Over from the bar, Dave rolled his eyes and chuckled.

Cora got much the same treatment as Sabastian when she came back to stand with the two boys. She laughed and talked with them excitedly for a few moments before turning her attention to Sabastian, who was really doing his thing up there. While they watched, Vin couldn't help but feel that strong stirring in his loins once again. Not only were the lyrics so fitting, but the man's voice was just entrancing to him in a way he had never felt before. He was definitely going to be a little pop song stuck in his head for years to come.

When he came back, Cora returned his high five with a huge grin, and then leaned back against the wall to watch Jesse's performance. Tommy especially seemed to be entranced with her, staring at her like a lovestruck puppy. It was so damn cute that she couldn't help but nudge Sabastians side and point at the innocent boy.

While she was banging it out on the drums, Cora leaned over to Vin and in a quiet voice, not wanting the other two to hear, she said "thank you."

Vin looked down at her with a curious expression.

"For what?"

He thought she was going to say something about convincing them both to come up on stage and perform, but what she said next threw him off guard.

"For not knocking Damien's teeth out the other night. I know you could have, and I know you held back, so thank you. And no, he didn't come crying to me. I felt the scab on the back of his head and made him talk."

She kept her gaze out on the crowd, but as Vin looked down into her face, he couldn't help but feel like she looked sad.

"You don't need to thank me."

He felt uncomfortable all of a sudden, and he brought his hand up to rub the back of his neck a bit. Cora didn't know it, but she had that very serious demeanor about her that his own mother had had. Ninety percent of the time she was as sweet as honey, but when she got angry or serious, Hell hath had no fury in comparison.

"I do," she said, suddenly looking up at him with intensity.

"Whether you meant to do it or not, you helped him Vin. You helped him grow as a person, and for that, I do need to thank you."

They stared at each other then, a strange silence between them. Delvin wanted to ask her then, ask her how they had met and why it seemed as if the mysterious tall man was carrying some secret that only she knew about. But, he couldn't find the words, and soon enough he lost his chance as she was carried back up on stage for her next song.

He simply watched in puzzlement as she sang with the same feisty and sexy attitude as before, smiling and shaking his head a little as she turned to the crowd and popped her ass out a little at the "yea my ass, wait 'till you get a load of me" line. Soon enough he had let it go, and he stood clapping his hands along with the crowd.

When Cora nudged him and directed his attention to Tommy, Sabastian grinned, enjoying that adorable look on the boy's face. He moved next to him and leaned over to his ear, "you should totally ask her out after this." He hadn't noticed that Cora and Vin were having a serious conversation, caught up as he was in Jesse's performance. Tommy had also asked him to sing with him in his song, so he had certainly agreed.

When the song was over, Jesse whooped and clicked her drumsticks together. "Forget Trespassing, that girl is welcome to the stage anytime! However, it's time for your favorite eye-patched singer to come up once more for "Looking at Me.""

Sabastian grinned and sauntered up to the stage, taking the microphone from its stand so that he could move around the stage as he sang.

"Did I catch your attention? You look like you lost your breath, huh"

God, the smell of the crowd was intoxicating by itself. Sabastian's keen sense of smell had no chance against the overwhelming amount of aroused people in front of him. It could be assumed that over the course of the last couple songs, they had been riled up, dancing with their partners, grinding and laying their hands on each other. It made him turned on in a way he hadn't felt before; it was almost like he was high in a way.

For this reason, he felt confident and sexy onstage, emboldened by the hot feeling coursing through him. His eyes closed and he sang flirtatiously, at times almost sounding like he was purring at the crowd. He was starting to feel it, swinging his hips provocatively as he danced.

"Don't just stand there staring, honey, try to move your feet. If you think they looking at you, they looking at me. I can make it nice and easy- I'ma take the lead. They ain't even looking at you, baby they looking at me."

He strutted across the stage fiercely, his movements meant to entice and draw attention. At times his hands even slid down his torso teasingly before coming back up. The crowd loved it, feeding off of his sexual energy

When the song was over, he panted softly, waiting for Tommy to come up onstage with him for the next song.

"Oh man, is it getting hot in here, or is that just him? Ladies and gentlemen, let me give you a chance to recover yourselves with our super cool next singer. The base's very own Tommy will be singing "I'm Blue." Give it up!" She clicked her drumsticks together as the crowd cheered in anticipation.

Tommy looked down at Sabastian with a bit of a blush on his face. Perhaps he would. Although, it wasn't exactly easy. His life belonged to the army now, and while he would love to have a fling with the gorgeous little goth rocker, he wasn't sure how attached he could get. He was still a teenager, and while his hormones were running wild and telling him to just go for it, he wasn't sure if he could ask her to just follow him blindly-especially if they decided to move him to a different base. There was no guarantee that he could stay in one spot. All these thoughts ran through his head as he watched her play, her every movement enchanting him.

Delvin was really enjoying the performance until about halfway through the song when he started to notice Sabastian getting more energy in his step. It was intensely erotic to watch the way he moved his body, but he had thought Cora had talked him out of drinking more.

"Hey," he said, leaning down to her.

"Didn't you take his drink away?"

Cora was smiling and clapping, and generally cheering for him, but when she heard what Vin had to say, she took a closer look at the little blond. She had sat his drink aside, had he sneaked off to have more?

"Yea, I did... maybe someone in the audience gave him some? Well, he'll probably be alright. Worst case scenario he pukes a little back stage and me and Damien can get him to a bunk to sleep it off."

Despite her words, she was a little worried though. They still didn't know what alcohol would do to his system now, although, she couldn't express these concerns to Vin. Once they were done with the performance, she would ask Damien to help her keep an eye on him.

Vin nodded, but that wasn't enough for him. He didn't want to see Sabastian get sick, so with a "I'll be back", he made his way off the stage and headed to the bar to get some water bottles for them.

Tommy heard his cue, and giving Jesse a bit of a shy smile, he ran on stage and grabbed a mic. He gave Sabastian a fist bump, and then he waited for Jesse to cue him in on the drums.

"Yo listen up, here's a story!
About a little guy that lives in a blue world!
"

His singing voice was much deeper than his regular talking voice, and he was able to hit those deeper gravelly parts quite well, all but growling out the words as he walked across the stage and used his free hand to gesture and add to the vibe. He loved that he had been able to pick out the Kung Fury outfit as well, and he hoped that he looked as cool as he felt in that moment.

While Vin was making his way back with the waters, he actually stopped and looked up in surprise at Tommy. Of all the things, he had not expected the boy to be capable of such a deep voice and it made him laugh and throw up an arm in cheer for the boy.

"Hey man," someone said behind him, tapping him on the shoulder. When he turned around, Vin was face to face with a rather scraggly and nervous looking guy. The man's eyes darted around the compound a few times, like he was scared he was going to get jumped. Delvin didn't think too much of this until he asked his next question.

"Do you got any of those club drugs?"

Delvins smile dropped as he looked quite seriously at the stranger, and for a moment he wondered if he just wanted something to get high.

"No I don't. Best I got is some smokes, although they ain't cheap seeing as they're going to be hard to find here real soon."

"Yea yea, I gotcha man. Well hey,"

He stuck his hand out to shake Vin's hand, but Vin just looked at him, not taking the offer. After a few seconds of nervous awkwardness on the other man's part, he put his hand down.

"Names Robbie. If you find some good shit, let me know, yea? I'll make it worth your while."

With that, he turned and melted into the crowd of people, leaving Vin standing there and staring after him. He wasn't surprised that there would be people like that here, but he had hoped since it was a military base, they would have been a bit more careful about who they let in. With a shrug, he turned back and went back up on stage, giving Cora two water bottles and waiting for them to finish their song.

Damien also found it slightly odd that Sabastian seemed slowly acting more intoxicated. He wondered what was going on backstage, whether Cora had given him more booze. The little blonde man didn't seem to sloppy, nor did he seem unsure on his feet. He was just extremely outgoing and seductive. However, he simply enjoyed the show, clapping for him as he continued to sing and perform.

When Tommy started his gravely lines, Sabastian was also surprised that Tommy had such a cool voice. He simply grinned and danced to the music as he waited his own turn. When it came, he sang his lines, the band playing with excitement in the background. Everybody knew that song, so it was likely to be a crowd favorite. Jesse in particular had a very wide grin on her face; she loved that he could sing like that. That sort of singing took practice to get right, so it made him respect him all the more.

"I'm Blue! Daba dee daba di, daba dee daba di!" He didn't have as many lines, but when he did, he did his best, wanting Tommy's song to be as good as possible. It wasn't a sexy song, so he didn't strut, he just let loose and had fun on it.

When it was over, he took Tommy's hand and held it up for the crowd like he and Cora had done. The crowd screamed for them and then Sabastian patted his back, gesturing for him to give the crowd a bow as the main singer.

Jesse chimed in on her microphone. "I can definitely say that performance made me anything but blue! Wow! What a voice on Tommy, am I right?!" She grinned and winked at Tommy as he made his way off stage. "And now, sorry Sabastian, but I can't let you leave just yet! The crowd needs to hear you sing "Sweet Dreams.""

Sabastian looked back at her and nodded, grinning. The song started up and he walked back over to his mic in the microphone stand. He didn't take it out just yet, starting the song just a bit seductively.

"Some of them want to use you, some of them want to get used by you. Some of them want to abuse you, some of them want to be abused..." When he spoke, he pointed into the crowd twice for each of the first two lines. On the line with 'abuse you' he pulled the microphone stand toward himself then fondled it for the line 'be abused,' running his hand possessively up the sleek metal.

He then took the microphone from the stand and used his newfound freedom to walk and slink around the stage, giving off an air of seduction and arrogance, as though he almost knew a secret they didn't. Sabastian felt almost light-headed at this point, though he didn't show any signs of being off-balance. All he knew was that he loved being onstage and that he would milk his last performance for all it was worth.

At one point in the performance, he laid on his back and sang into the microphone with his arm up, his legs moving up and down in an alternating fashion before he moved onto his side. His free hand rubbed the floor before he swiftly and gracefully got to his feet to finish the song. When he was done, he was out of breath and the crowd was cheering loudly.

"Oh my. Sabastian, I think you're going to have some sweet dreams tonight with that attitude." Jesse said, her cheeks slightly pink from how erotic that had been. "Ahem. Alright. Well, next up we have the voodoo man with the sweetest fucking guitar you've ever seen in your life. It's Vin! Tell us what you're going to be singing!" She wasn't sure what he had chosen, but they could adapt to whatever he chose.

Sabastian exited the stage, a big smile on his face as he made his way over to the rest of them.

Delvin had stood stone still as he watched Sabastian perform his last song. He was glad that he wouldn't be performing anymore, for as much as he enjoyed his voice, he didn't know if he could handle anymore of those erotic movements.

Just as Tommy gave Jesse a shy little smile, and before Sabastian could reach him, he handed Cora his own bottle of water and said with a gruff voice, "get him to drink some, please".

She only nodded, watching him walk over to Jesse. He had taken the braid out of his hair and left the tie with his hat sitting on the ground, and she was curious of what he was up to. Before he reached Jesse, he handed his guitar off to the man who had answered the door earlier and shown such interest in it. He wanted his hands to be free for this performance, as he intended to mimic many of the mannerisms that Bad Wolf had used.

"Make her sing true."

He gave him a big grin and a clap on the back.

"Tell us what you're going to be singing!"

Vin looked out at the crowd with his big smile, and leaning in near her mic, he spoke.

"I had a special request to sing a cover of Zombie in the Bad Wolves style, so that's just what I'm going to do."

The crowd, and even some soldiers in their posts he noticed, erupted into loud cheers and hoots of pleasure. That was all the motivation he needed to know it was a good choice.

He strode towards the mic up front, peeling his shirt off as he went before tossing it towards the back of the stage. While he had a small amount of dark chest hair on his upper body, what really dominated his chest was a giant tattoo of a dragon tail, the thicker meatier portion of it starting up near his right shoulder and then gliding down across his chest to his left side under his arm. It added to the illusion that the dragon on his back was fully wrapped around his body, and the tattoos on his arms seemed almost minor in comparison.

As the band began to play, he took the mic from the stand and stood back a bit.

"Another heeaad hangs loowly, child is slowly, taaaken..."

He let his hair fall over his shoulders a bit as he leaned forward slightly and held his hand up towards his face.

"But you see!, It's not me, it's not my, family!

In your head, in your head, they are fiiighting!

With their tank, and their bombs and their bombs, and their drones, in your head, in your head, they are criieeeing!
"

He threw the same amount of passion and emotion into his voice as he had when Sabastian asked him to sing You Are My Sunshine. His every motion and inflection in his voice carried with it the gravity of the meaning of the song and his own touch of sadness. It was the reason he had passed his guitar off, because he needed to be able to perform this correctly and show his support not just to these survivors, but those soldiers who had put their own lives on the line time and time again for their country and their families.

" WHAT'S in your heea-ead! In your heeea-ead!

ZOMBIE! ZOMBIE! ZOM-BIE-EH-EEH!
"

He threw his head down in true rockstar fashion, letting his hair fling down for added effect to the tone of his voice. He continued to sing this way until the end, and near the end, he held the microphone close for the last lyrics and sang more softly; more reverently, and let his gaze meet those of the soldiers high up on their posts.

Damien had stood in the front row for Sabastian's performance, thinking to himself that it was the most uncomfortable he had been in a while. Watching Sabastian almost put on a strip show was not his idea of a good time. However, he let out a breath of relief when he saw Delvin get up onstage.

His tattoo was so impressive, and he appreciated how muscled the man was. It only made his tattoos look more awesome.

Sabastian seemed to be thinking the same thing. As he came off the stage to watch, his eyes went wide at the sight of the man taking his shirt off. God, he was so fucking hot he had half a mind to run up there and suck his dick onstage. However, he still had the decency to restrain himself and stay back. He was definitely very hard, though and almost pined for Vin backstage, watching him rapturously as he started singing.

Bernard had grinned at Vin, nodding and taking the guitar gingerly. He started to play, the other two starting in on their instruments. When Vin would sing with passion, they would follow suit, but they were proficient at being soft when he went into the more heartfelt tender moments of the song. Jesse was swept away by the song, her drumsticks whirring at times, and gently tapping at others.

It seemed like the crowd really identified with the song, someone raising their lighter which was followed by people holding up their cellphones or lighters as well, swaying back and forth as he sang. Damien felt a lump in his throat and he simply watched as the man performed.

Sabastian felt less horny, being taken down a notch temporarily by the somber tone of the song. His heart ached as he watched Vin, the man singing so earnestly and with such passion. His eyes misted a bit, and he hastily blinked before his eyeliner had a chance to run, though he still felt a deep sense of solidarity with Vin and everyone there for that matter. Everyone was struggling, and right now all they could do was support each other.

Vin put the mic back gingerly and took a small bow before waving at the crowd and heading to the back. Tommy looked almost as if he was about to cry, but he sucked it up and let out a laugh, then took Vin's hand in his own as they locked arms for a moment in a very brotherly sort of embrace.

While Cora had been overcome with emotion as well, she knew her own song was coming up and she wanted to do something a little special. She smiled at Vin, then she walked over to Jesse and waited for her to finish her announcement.

"Could I use your mic for this last song, Jesse?"

She threw a little smile over in Damien's direction, wondering if he had any idea what she was about to attempt. She was feeling pretty confident at the moment because while Sabastian had been singing Sweet Dreams, she had snuck back inside to drink a little more liquid courage. She had left her drink there, or course, not wanting to temp Sabastian.

Jesse wiped her eyes for a moment, her make-up running a bit. "God, that was fucking great. Enough said. Well, next up we have the last guest song of the night sung by our kick-ass lady Cora! She'll be singing a softer song this time called "One Night."" The girl waited for her to walk onto the stage and was surprised when she saw Cora come up to her. Upon hearing her request, she smiled and took off her headset, handing it over. "Yeah, just make sure to hand it back when you're done. It's easy to forget you're wearing it."

Damien was waiting near the stage, very much looking forward to hearing one of his favorite songs from those sweet lips of hers. He wondered what she was doing over by Jesse, seeing her hand over the headset. It made him think that perhaps she wanted her hands free so she could better feel the song like Vin. His grey eyes were eager as he watched her, almost breathlessly awaiting her song.

In the meantime, Sabastian had snuck off since he hadn't even known that he was supposed to drink the bottled water Cora had set down. It now sat untouched on a chair backstage, but his alcohol was abandoned as well. With how he felt in those moments, he didn't really need it. The somberness of the last song was wearing off, and the light-headed intoxication of the crowd was taking over him once more. He had exited the stage and was now mingling in the crowd, lost in a sea of faces.

Vin wished he wasn't, but he was aware of every move that Sabastian made, so when the little man made his way off stage, Vin was quick to follow him. He kept his distance, but as soon as Sabastian seemed to have stopped, he slowed down as well. Spotting Aurora nearby, he made his way over to her with a casual and cocky strut, his smile easy.

"Hey there beautiful. Care to dance?"

He was so concerned with Sabastians wellbeing that he didn't even realize he had left his guitar up with the band until he was already in the crowd. He figured it would be safe enough with them, though, and he didn't want to risk letting Sabastian out of his sight.

Up on stage, Tommy was trying to work up the courage to talk to Jesse, but at the exact moment that he made up his mind to do it, his radio crackled and beeped in his pocket. He knew what it meant, and he knew he had to answer. With a heavy sigh, he pulled it out and answered, picking his gun up off the floor as he made his way off stage.

"Yeah, just make sure to hand it back when you're done. It's easy to forget you're wearing it."

She nodded.

"Will do."

She adjusted the headset and then made her way over to the front of the stage, an easy smile on her lips. When she was close to the edge, she bent down on her knees and put her hand out to him.

"Come up here baby," she said sweetly, her green hazel eyes meeting his steel grey.

Once he was up on stage with her, she put one hand on his shoulder and the other in his hand, getting ready to dance.

When Aurora saw him approach, she gave him a flirty smile and sidled up to him. "Mm, with you? You better believe I wouldn't pass up the chance. Ooh, I like your tattoo too. It's super sexy." She reached up and traced a finger down his chest before sliding it back up and resting it on his shoulder. She was wearing a tight black dress that accentuated her curves and showed off her breasts in a less than subtle way.

Nearby, Sabastian wondered why the music wasn't starting yet before he realized that Cora was singing that slow song instead of an upbeat one. He sighed, not really knowing what to do since he didn't have anyone to dance with. He supposed he would simply listen, or maybe he would find Damien and hang out with him. That thought was dashed as he saw Cora bring him up on stage.

A couple guys came over to him and started complimenting him on his performance for a moment, though, so he smiled and quickly felt less out-of-place. They seemed to really think he did a good job, one of them taking a selfie with him. He grinned, happy for the attention before they directed their gaze to the stage.

Damien was almost in a state of shock, having been invited up onstage with her. He felt her place her hands on him, and that seemed to break the spell. The man put his hand on her hip before sliding it back to the small of her back to keep her close, his other hand holding hers gently. He didn't care who was watching as long as those hazel eyes held his.

Vin kept a casual eye on Sabastian, not wanting to ruin his fun, but also not wanting anyone to try and drag him away from the dance floor. In all honesty, he wouldn't be content until he was back in the presence of Cora and Damien. But for the here and now, he had a warm hand on his shoulder, and a beautiful women in his arms, and he was intent on enjoying that while it lasted. His smile softened and he let her keep his gaze as Cora began to sing, leading her in a slow and sultry dance.

Her eyes never left his as she sang, and while she had taken a dance class or two, she was more specialized in belly dancing and party moves, so she let him lead her.

The world felt as if it had melted away. She could hear her own voice through the speakers, but it sounded distant and almost as if someone else was singing. The look on his face was everything to her, and as they swayed across the floor, she tried not to cry. She had never felt so warm, or so complete, in her life. Standing there under those stage lights, swaying to a soft beat in the arms of the man she loved, she felt as if a hole in her heart had been filled.

When the song came to it's end, she all but forgot where she was. There was only him and that look in his eyes.

"I love you."

Bernard slung the guitar over his shoulder in favor of the electric piano, setting it to the regular piano setting while Jesse played softly on the drums, her dad playing the base guitar. Jesse helped Cora on the back-up vocals on the echoing parts, keeping her own voice soft so as not to take away from Cora.

Since Vin hadn't shrugged her hand off, Aurora put her other hand on his shoulder as well, pressing her body against his and starting to move back and forth in her tender slow-dance with him. She rested her head against his chest, her cheek pressed against his warm skin.

Sabastian swayed to the music, not able to keep himself from crying this time. One of the guys noticed and put a comforting arm around the blonde, letting him lean against him and his head on his shoulder. The blonde wasn't attracted to the guy, but he needed the comfort of someone to hold him, and he was the person there. Watching Cora and Damien on stage filled him with envy and sadness, and in his drunkness he didn't know how to process those feelings.

The steely-eyed man onstage got the feeling she didn't really dance like this often, so he was happy to take the lead as she sang. His hand on her back pulled her closer and he started to gently lead her back and forth across the stage, occasionally twirling her before pulling her back in. While he had never dreamt before, he felt like this would be what it was like to dream since it felt so fantastical that it almost couldn't be real.

His heart beat quickly as he looked into her eyes, his face one of utter adoration and love. He almost couldn't believe the beauty he held in his arms, reaffirming to himself that she was the most precious thing he had ever been able to call his own. He thought back to the days he had been hopeless, accepting of the dark nature of the world. He had thought that he would never have anything so special as love, certainly not as profound as what he had with her. She was his dream come true, his life's purpose.

The man was close to crying by the time the song was done, his eyes misty as he gave her a little smile. "I love you too, forever." He flipped the mouthpiece up on the headphone gently and kissed her, moving his hand then to her cheek as he held her close.

The crowd was a bit quiet for a moment before it erupted in a loud roar, people cheering and whooping for them.

Vin let her rest against his chest, using the opportunity to look away from her to find Sabastian again. When he saw him leaning up against another man, he had to remind himself of the flat out rejection he had given him earlier. As much as it pissed him off, it was better this way. And besides, it wasn't right of him to be holding someone in his arms while still feeling his attachment over someone else. Best to just, shrug it off and let it go.

Cora closed her eyes and wrapped her arms around his neck as he kissed her, a few tears spilling down her face. When the crowd erupted into cheer, she laughed against his lips and broke it off, letting her forehead rest against his for a brief moment. Finally she let go and took the headset off, taking his hand and walking back over to Jesse to return it. Then she looked back at him.

"Let's go get our drinks and find Sabastian."

After that amazing hour, she wanted to let loose and burn some energy off.
