My new boots

Just not my thing, I guess. Though, I did try to sew one for a girl once.....that added "purchase a leather sewing machine" right to the top of the list....


....little did I know how expensive they are. I'll have to find a good ol' cast-iron singer or something WWI era.

I do have 40 pounds of armor made out of steel and leather though.....that's always fun to strap on and whale the shit out of like-minded individuals. The girls into that sort of thing do nothing but swoon over us...

Belegon....kilt.....brave man. Almost all of my ancestors wore them....I like pants.

Wore Kilts a time or three. (A good friend of mine is a HighLander.) Took a bit to get used to them, but then everything was just fine.

I have never tried to play in Plate, it just doesn't look too comfortable to me. It does sound like I have some items you would be interested in though, made for me and given to me by my father. (An old fashioned kind of German, he insisted I learn how to use them before he gave them to me. All along I thought it was just his way of getting me into shape.) I have a Steel Laminate Great Sword and Battle Ax. (Double half moon style.) Both are made to be used. I'll see if I have a picture of them for you.

Now back to the thread. Women in boots, too nice to look at. I still haven't convinced the wife to get herself a pair. Maybe I should get her some for Christmas.

And you know what else is so cool about this thread? My wife went shopping today and without any prompting from me, bought a pair of black, very high heeled, knee high boots.
