My new boots

Just not my thing, I guess. Though, I did try to sew one for a girl once.....that added "purchase a leather sewing machine" right to the top of the list....

....little did I know how expensive they are. I'll have to find a good ol' cast-iron singer or something WWI era.

I do have 40 pounds of armor made out of steel and leather though.....that's always fun to strap on and whale the shit out of like-minded individuals. The girls into that sort of thing do nothing but swoon over us...

Belegon....kilt.....brave man. Almost all of my ancestors wore them....I like pants.

Wore Kilts a time or three. (A good friend of mine is a HighLander.) Took a bit to get used to them, but then everything was just fine.

I have never tried to play in Plate, it just doesn't look too comfortable to me. It does sound like I have some items you would be interested in though, made for me and given to me by my father. (An old fashioned kind of German, he insisted I learn how to use them before he gave them to me. All along I thought it was just his way of getting me into shape.) I have a Steel Laminate Great Sword and Battle Ax. (Double half moon style.) Both are made to be used. I'll see if I have a picture of them for you.

Now back to the thread. Women in boots, too nice to look at. I still haven't convinced the wife to get herself a pair. Maybe I should get her some for Christmas.

Women in boots....yeah yeah...goreous....makes me think many bad things about what to do with them and check their fingers for rings.....

You have an axe?

Oooo, that does sound nice.

I'm hoping to have an excuse to wear mine again this weekend. If I can get the digital camera from my ex, I'll be taking a new AV picture too!

My armour is on display in the Tower of London.

It still fits perfectly even if the steel codpiece is rather overstated.

I believe the universal male equivalent to knee-high boots is the tuxedo. Every bloke feels like Bond.

Bingo. I love to wear my tuxedo, but there are few opportunities to do so around here, unless you're carrying a tray of drinks.

Oh my fucking God! That's gonna keep me going all damn day tomorrow at work. 10 hours of quality time with a robotic welder and every time I think of that, I'll start to laugh.

Og, yeah....codpiece is a little out there. Christ, what is that thing, the first example of a modern door knob? Should you knock and let someone else answer or just twist and open? Kee-rist!

these boots are made for walkin
thats just what theyll do

The boots are nice, but I prefer the woman standing in them.

Mmmmm... tasty logo.

And you know what else is so cool about this thread? My wife went shopping today and without any prompting from me, bought a pair of black, very high heeled, knee high boots. I've only been trying to get her to buy them for about 10 years now. Now I gotta decide where we should go out to so I can see her out in them.

Is that "see her out in them"?

Or...

"Help her out of them?"

Thanks everyone for your kind words about my Boots! I really do love wearing them. ;)
