My re-edited story

I have been writing since July and had posted chapters here a while ago as my first ever serious story. Then I re-edited things and submitted but ended up waiting for over 4 months due to whatever issue was happening here. Now that it has finally been posted, I'm getting fairly good ratings on it and decided that now, since I'm in between jobs, is a good time to start a Patreon and hope I can get some money out of this.

Chapter 5 has been posted here today, and I posted Chapter 6 on Patreon...hope I don't lose people or get shredded, but life sucks right now.

If you posted parts of a story on Literotica and then stopped and posted subsequent chapters elsewhere, you are in violation of this site's policies.

You can have the same content here and elsewhere, but you can't "tease" readers here into going elsewhere to finish what they started.

There are people here who publish their stories by chapter to see how they are received. They then combine the chapters and post them someplace like Smashwords as an e-book to generate revenue. That might be a better alternative for you to keep out of trouble here.

I'm pretty sure you can also post stories elsewhere available for a fee first, and then post them here later. I know of two writers who do so and have links to their Patreon in their bio here.

Or at least, you could, but now that I check, they both seem to have stopped or are having other problems. Maybe policies about this have changed in recent weeks/months? Maybe it's theoretically possible but there are too many policies it's in the gray area of?

As far as the vast majority of readers here are concerned, there is nothing beyond what is posted here. Nearly no one will follow you elsewhere.
