One Tin soldier

ETA: Billy Jack was so fucking cool.....
I love the song, but him kicking the guy in the face was the single coolest thing I remember from a movie growing up. It made me want to do martial arts. If I hadn't lost my knee, I might have done it for a living.

this is easy:

I cant stand her
Doing what she did before
Living like a gypsy queen
In a fairy tale
Well I hear the whistle but I cant go
Im gonna take her down to mexico
She said oh no
Guadalajara wont do

My Old School, by Steely Dan. :D

I love Steely Dan.

(y'all, I probably have a bit of an advantage: I have somewhere around 500 - 600 cds on the shelf next to me ;) )

Let's try changing the genre

Yes I got some candy kisses for your lips
Yes I got some honey suckle chocolate dripping kisses full of love for you
Yes I got some candy kisses for your lips
Yes I got some honey suckle chocolate dripping kisses full of love for you

My life has been waiting for your love
My arms have been waiting for your love to arrive
My heart has been waiting
My soul anticipating your love, love, love

No hints unless they're needed.

I never got one, but I've been a musician since I was 5 and made a living at it since 19.

They took all the trees
Put em in a tree museum
And they charged the people
A dollar and a half just to see em

I know this'll be too easy, so only a couple of lines.

Misty: I had the same reaction, but then.....I'm from Cali, and we call everyone dude.

besides, it's kinda hard to miss my gender with the AV I'm using currently. ;)

LOL! I hang out with too many people from Cali, sorry. :)

Neat thread.

The wife will like this one, her knowledge of song lyrics simply astounds me!!

I stayed up cryin' all night (all night)
I knew the end was in sight (in sight)
And now you're walkin' out on me (on me)
You're wonderin' where the little tears can be (can be)

Anyone???

It's old.....

Seagull carry me, over land and sea
To my own folk, that's where I want to be
Every beat of my heart
Tears me further apart
I'm lost and alone in the dark
I'm going home
