Sorry, but I thought "Chicken Ranch" was a euphemism for a house of ill repute.
ditto Chicken Street (in many towns and cities here).

Such places are rather discrete over here.
Phew - it's done. I didn't screw up, only had to refer to my notes occasionally and my co-instructors were especially helpful in responding when I said "Derek, would like to run through this?" ( because I'm feeling panic rising in my throat to strangle me ). The weather was horrendous, so we had to have a quick teachers conference to work out how the hell they could practise righting dinghies safely but with an element of problem solving mixed in. I have a hole in my drysuit so need a bicycle repair patch. Actually I'm still a bit shakey from my post-teaching rush, so now I'm going to have a hot bath whilst someone else cooks my supperDon't worry! they will adore you. I used often to teach older people but now I am the older one, LOL. You sound as if you have got it taped - drawing on their experience and making them feel positive about doing the thing is the main way forward.
I think me and Piglet ought to do some girl-stuff ..... nah - I'm waaay to oldAh, if only. I am on Piglet duty now until Super Saturday!

Oh dear! Shall I post instructions for puncture repairs? 90psi is a lot! Are they race tyres?Well done! *pats sg on back* That's a great way to deal with it.
I think you must used them more than cyclists do! As mentioned before, I can never, ever get a decent seal to stand up to 90psi.
I hate waste, but I have masses of inner tubes with one small hole which I can't fix.![]()
I found something out tonight which made me feel so, so much better. I can't yet say in a public forum what this is, but will once I've sorted other things out. Nevertheless, it's made me feel so much better about myself.
A teaser. Something for us to wait for?
Yep. Hopefully something Naoko can help me with.
In other news, more dodgy rugby malarkey
We took a room at an inn near La Arca in Chichicastenango, Guatemala, site of the largest open-air indigenous market in the Americas. (It's pronounced chee-chee-KASS-ten-ANG-go and means "where the chichicas are", whatever chichicas are.)LOL..that reminded me of a 'countryside' restaurant in Guangdong. It was beside a small dam - (no picture window; it was outdoors) - lots of white ducks and chickens running around. I think the numbers got reduced daily to feed the diners.

Pedro, 30 years in Cleveland before returning home, provided rooms but not meals; he recommended his neighbor Ramona's cooking. We saw work-toned MILF Ramona chasing a chicken in her backyard. Very tasty chicken dinner. Any chicken being chased is a chicken due to be devoured, as it deserves.
Chasing-down wild tofu just isn't the same.

and those wild tofus can give you a nasty bite if you corner them!![]()
I was once confronted by a feral fried tofu; my wife tried to convince me to eat healthily, instead it beat me severely about the face and neck before leaping through the window and making its escape; when last seen, it was dragging the neighbour's cat under a bush. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it...
Well, of course, Chicken & Tofu have been fighting each other for years. . .
Waiting for someone to come along and spoil this flight of fancy by pointing out that tofu (wild or tame) is made from soy beans and is not known for being aggressive.
Curds, however, are well known to be extremely dangerous and should be avoided at all costs.
Now you've spoiled the tofu. Eew. There's hardly a place to turn but to the curds, while the wheat germ awaits around the darkened corner with a sly, anticipatory smirk.
JUST you wait until Naoko sees the depths to which this thread has sunk!

Fat, juicy, round bottoms, pinked with pleasure, quivering and shaking, just awaiting the next stroke, ahhhh...Spanked bottoms might be on the agenda.
:caning::caning::caning:
A thread going to the birds is not unusual. One going to tofu is something else altogether.![]()
Tofu is a destination now?
