I was saying that the same thing happened to me, but mercifully before the days of social media. I had written her some very explicit letters, and when we split she sent copies to everyone she could think of. I still remember the feelings of shame and humiliation. It ended up in court, where she lost.

My point is that you will get through this, and no one who is a true friend will think less of you for what you have had to endure.
