Need chili recipe

Todd, I shouldn't feel so put out by your post, but I do.

Of course it's the lazy way. I suppose I made an assumption that Tony might want a simple alternative to his problem. If he wants something complicated, I'm sure Martha Stewart has a recipe website. Also FOODTV.com has zillions of recipes for free.

I'm not sure why Tony doesn't want a book recipe. What's wrong with cookbooks?

I HATE MARTHA STEWART...

She is the Anti-Christ, and for all those who share this view, here's a little something you should see, I know I found it humourous.

Now, Bring my hot new cousin over here, I'm feelin' frisky!

Yes, Martha is annoying and pompous, but her recipes are nothing to sneer at. You just have to be willing to search for the ones that don't require you to a) fly to Europe for ingredients or b) reserve a week just to cook one dish.

Cook your meat with onions and garlic.
After cooking your meat,drain fat
Add Guinness for a base.
Add stewed tomatoes,
Maple syrup,
smoked cured bacon,
what ever else you like in your chili .
If it gets to thick, thin it down with Bloody Mary mix. Make sure you make it a day before so the flavors have time to meld.
Always season meat during the cooking process as well or meat tends to be bland.
If someone tells you to use habanero or scotch bonnet they are not your friend. If you use in the raw state they may cause blisters just from touching.
