It's just that I have so much in there already... I'm almost ashamed of myself for such a vast collection in my signature.. I know I get annoyed by people with massive sigs... is mine bordering on massive, or is it still within acceptable paramaters?

I had the best character. I had a Ranger, but it was a special race. I forget what it was called but it allowed me to go from human form to half human/half sparrow form, and then full sparrow form. I had him with a bow and played as human/sparrow form and flew over the map raining arrows from up high where most monsters couldn't get me. Sneaky, but effective.

I had the best character. I had a Ranger, but it was a special race. I forget what it was called but it allowed me to go from human form to half human/half sparrow form, and then full sparrow form. I had him with a bow and played as human/sparrow form and flew over the map raining arrows from up high where most monsters couldn't get me. Sneaky, but effective.

Were-sparrow? Or the race from Oriental Adventures...Hengeyokai?

My favorite charcter was a doppelganger rogue/assassin. Polymorph Self at will is quite handy for killing people

Nah, but but when you know the rules as well as or better than your DM, by extension you know how to chea...ah, manipulate circumstances to your advantage.

With the right Domains and feats, there is not a damn thing Clerics can't do.
Even without multiclassing, a well thought out cleric can fill any job almost as good as the classes that specialize in it!

Well, seeing as it's third edition, definitely not.

I had one player who memorized the monsters manual, and was such a horrible roleplayer that he would use his knowledge for his character's benefit.. even shouting out in the middle of the game, "Oh, these monsters only have two d8 hit die, easy win for us!"... so, I modified the monsters from then on

I purposely try not to read through the MM...I do still want to have fun. Besides, I know the difference between my knowledge and my character's knowledge. I don't like people who play out-of-game like that.

Hell, I was in a campaign that ran from 3rd to 17th level.
Often times, a decent encounter would leave us with a 50% or better casualty rate.

I could never memorize one of those books. I've got too much Transformers knowledge up there. Now if we had a Transformers RPG then yeah, I'd have an unfair advantage. But alas, there is not, at least not one that I know of. Please let me know if there is. >.<
