You could always do a Barbarian/Mage. Something either Elf or Human. That way, you can screw them on the 'Sneak Attack' with enough levels in Barbarian and Mage to do some decent Blast spells. Just a thought.

If all else fails, go 'Evil by Necessity' on them and make good versions of them. That way, they're 'evenly' matched.
I want rivals, not exact duplicates.

The party consists of:

A sorcerer planning on becoming a Palemaster/necromancer/everything involving undead (eventually wants to be a Lich). My nemesis for this character is a Cleric, of course, with everything relating to turn undead and damage to undead, etc.

A monk that's currently LN, that's slowly slipping into LE, not sure what his plans are for the character, but I know they're best against mage types, so my nemesis for him is a Dwarven Defender, damage reduction is great :D

Third member is an Elven Ranger, nothing special about the character, kinda low stats, probably specializing in Bows, might become an assassin, might not, he's very unsure of his character progression. My nemesis for him is a Wizard specialized in Evocation, with the prestige class of Red Wizard of Thay, for more bonuses to his chosen school.

The Halfling Rogue/Druid is all I have left.. His plans involve becoming an ex-druid and acquiring the Blighter prestige class.

Oh, did I mention the Cleric started out as an NPC to ensure that the low level characters wouldn't die, then they all turned evil and she's been attemtping to redeem them, however she's very soon going to be leaving them. Also, she's secretly a half-dragon.. so high AC and lots of hitpoints.

My favorite character was a Hideyokai (sp) that was half swallow. He was a Ranger and I would change him to hybrid mode, fly above the field and rain down arrows on everything. :D The DM had an initial battle where our characters were supposed to be obliterated, and I survived the longest. Finally he had to summon a dragon to finish me off. >.<

Why would he want to obliterate you with an initial battle? And why would he allow a ranger that can fly? :p

1) Because it occurred in the characters dreams, and those beaten too badly were unable to wake. Unfortunately we stopped playing after that night, so we never finished the adventure.

2) Because I asked him. :D

Shapeshifter Druid. I'm telling you.

Nothing scares other Druids who may be going off path than a real Druid coming after them

*looks at everyone* (friggen Old Timer Nerd :p)

How about having me in the D&D thingie? I can carry a sword and poo on the evil thingies

Dammit, how come I missed out on the D&D talk?

Yeah, throw a good druid at him. Either that, or a Paladin - good balance between blighter and...bless-er? Whatever...

Anyone here know D&D 3rd edition really well?

I'm currently running an evil campaign and I need some kickass good aligned NPCs to throw against my group.

I have most of their rivals created, except for the Halfing Rogue/Druid, can't think what to pit him against.

*Repels in from the ceiling*

Hiya folks!
I'm done moving in, an earlier than anticipated too!

Yippee! Now I can waste time and space here again!
And in time for D&D talk too.
Hot dog.

Tol; to kill a druid, just use a paladin or a more combat oriented cleric.
Druids are wonderful support casters, but unless they are remarkably well made, they REALLY don't like melee combat.

*Sniff*
Of course, rather than futz about with other, decidely inferior classes, you could just attack the evil PCs with a whole slew of different flavored clerics!

Anyway, how have things been going?
Nothing seems to be on fire, but why does it smell of coffee beans in here? :cathappy:

Bah, Paladin's suck ;)

Hmm, right now the Rogue/Druid is level 2/1, he's rellying more on his Rogue abilities than his druidic ones, especially the Sneak attack.

Paladins suck right up to the moment someone with a Frightful Presence DC higher than 20 shows up.

Or disease. Or any other minor, pissing little, threats pop up.
Yay for paladins.

*whimpers and hides from all the talk of druid killing*

Ya know..some people really are druids still.
