Dear friend-

you have been invited to your friend's house located you know where.
time: you know when
why: you know why

Sure! Now, remind me... when? 'Cause I have things to do until later on in the evening tomorrow...

that is absolutely not true- you never told me that you were bi-sexual, nor do I recall ever telling you that I was as well. *shrugs* maybe I just forgot it came up in conversation one day, who knows? And I'm pretty sure you know me well enough that I wouldn't give you a fat man with bitch tits. You can stop fretting *smirks*
our questions asked are between you and me- don't worry. I have no questions to ask you at this time. Other than- HOW COME YOU NEVER MADE IT A PRIORITY TO COME VISIT ME???!!!!
Yeah, I knew you were :) We did discuss it, no worries though, it's not exactly a big deal, I just had to tease you about forgetting :D

As for the visit, I couldn't afford it in time before you moved :(

BUT.. I'll hopefully be moving to BC by late spring/early summer next year.. so I'll be a lot closer to Edmonton, and a trip might be feasible. Here's hopin' eh? :)

I distinctly remember a conversation between you and Tol about who could give better head.

Sexartist; Stranger is indeed wonderful, and rereading it is recommended. Can on grok Stranger in one pass? I dare say; nay. It would be wrongness.

The XBOX 360 and Halo 3 have consumed my soul.

I have flame throwers......I can hand carry mounted heavy artillary...I have my choice of modified Warthog and light flight transports....

Aside from work that is all I am currently doing. I have crawled away from the screen to deliever this message, my Master demands I return now.

Noooo! Not Halo 3! Don't let it consume your soul!

A great wrongness indeed. But waiting is, and in time, so to shall come grokking in fullness. My copy of the book is well-worn and a bit battered, with passages highlighted and such.

*blink*

I didn't like Stranger, but then, my dad told me it was because I was "too Catholic". For what it's worth, I love the part of Number of the Beast where they debate whether or not RHH was a talentless hack for writing Stranger :D

Such a heresy would turn the Empress' favor from me, and I should probably go reread Stranger with a clear, objective, state of mind. :D

:D I agree.

Hey, does anyone here play M.U.G.E.N.? Thought maybe we could compare rosters and possibly trade characters.

Waaaitaminute.. I didn't say anything like that!

Besides, a little bit of Nerd Heresy can be fun, cause it leads to spankings from the Empress! :nana:

...Assuming, of course, she can peel herself away from the Master Chief and the Covenant

Truth.
It's more the Flood I'd be worried about.
Our Empress will return.
Though, she might be sporting some new... Appendages.

I have two pet turtles.
They're aquatic, juvenile, and more or less, the same size.
In their tank, there is a floating platform for them to warm themselves below the a heat light and rest upon.
Turtles are not inherently very dexterous, so I had kept the water level about three inches from the top of the tank they reside in.
I figured, they were too cumbersome and heavy to climb their length vertically.
This assumption was correct until three days ago.

Individually, three inches is insurmountable for them, but together, they can manage it.
One turtle would position its self on the dock, and the second would climb up the first and grab the lip of the tank. As I watched, the second turtle got about half way up the lip, and had I not intervened, I am reasonably sure it could have cleared the lip and fallen three feet to the floor.

I figured it a fluke, and clapped my hands to startle them both into diving underwater. Climbing abandoned, they both dove from the dock and went about swimming. Four minutes later, they were both back up on the dock, and turtle #2 was again climbing. They repeatedly demonstrated this cooperative climbing effort nine times.

Now, I am no rube, and I, at first, figured this behavior to be more... Reproductive in nature than an honest teamwork escape routine.

Short research later, I dismissed this theory because it turns out that both turtles are female. Curiosity and bewilderment became genuine interest; if the climbing behavior was not, in fact, a clumsy attempt at mating, was it possible that they were trying to escape together?

Legitimate team work or not, I lowered the water level another three inches, to a total of six inches from the lip, and freedom for the waterborne critters. I thought the escapades complete. I was wrong.

This morning, when I woke up, I looked down to find turtle #2 staring up at me from the floor, six feet from the tank. She did not move, but merely stared at me, as though in challenge. I picked her up, and returned her to her tank, and spent a long hour trying to figure out how she escaped.

I still have no idea.

My question is; should I be more proud and impressed, or worried?
Also, should I attempt to discourage this behavior, or attempt to train these budding ninja turtles in the shadowy arts?

I would be most definitely impressed. I mean, how often do you get to witness an evolutionary wonder? And, of course, you should be proud. I mean, after all, they are your turtles, are they not, so they must have learnt the skills from you. You taught the turtles how to escape. Hmm, I think I sense an academic paper here...
Oh, and I would try to train your budding ninjas - who knows what other powers they possess?
