Then while that was going on, Wakka and Lulu decided to get smashed, didn't use protection and ended up getting the Hot Black Mage knocked up. So clearly, Square-Enix knew they couldn't have a knocked-up black mage casting spells in X-2, and I'm sure not alot of people would like to see an even sluttier Lulu with this huge pregnant stomach, so they decided to create someone who'd be "Similar" to Lulu, hence Paine- the WORST excuse for a Lulu.
