Sure it does!

(I'm going into a caffiene/sleepdeprived/word-writing madness fuelled by my need to get 20k words this weekend to keep up in my quest to write my 50k word novel in November)

Edit: Holy run-ons in parentheses, Batman!

Yeah, about that...

I decided that for NaNoWriMo this year, I am going to not write anything, in support of my brethren in the WGA who are on strike.

Which means, unlike all those previous years where I just didn't take part in NaNoWriMo, Now I'm not taking part in it... FOR A CAUSE! :D

Heh, I stared at that for nearly a minute before I got the joke. I am not a math nerd, unfortunately (more of a sci-fi/linguistics nerd).

As far as cake vs. pie goes, I have to go with pie. That said, when I bake, it's usually either brownies or cookies.

I'm not writing a script, so it makes absolutely no difference while they're on stike. I support the WGA fully in their endeavor and wish them the best, but this is for my own personal needs.

Yes, I think that would about sum it up. :)

Now, that is damn funny. I worked at an answering service myself, until recently. The stories I could tell you... Lowest fucking common denominator of humaninty. All day, every day.

:p Wonderful!
What do you do for work now?

Rei; be careful, I didn't prepare Cure Headache today.

Though... In hind sight, I really should prepare two of those every day...

I am between jobs, at the moment, and living off unemployment. The fabric of my life came all unwoven for a bit, and I ended up having to move (with almost no notice) about 3 hours distant from my previous home. C'est la vie.

The tapestry of our lives is often woven with strings chaotic.

Not all chaotic strings are for the worse, either. There's always the ability to pluck the string and change the chaotic to your advantage.

Oh, most definitely.

But when you assert your will upon chaos, you are attempting to assert law over random happenstance. :nana:

I can agree with that. My layoff was pretty chaotic, but it afforded me the opportunity to go back to school.

You can say that again. Usually, I'm all about randomness and Chaos - I am a Discordian, after all. Hate when it's my life that blows up, though. But I have learned to ride the wave... Chaos abounds in my life, and I embrace it.

It's all about rolling with it, and learning to keep your feet under you well enough to survive to the next calm spell. If you try to control it, it will immolate you, just as would happen if you let it control you.

I think I might make a webcomic thread soon, there are just so many good ones.

I like webcomics myself. If only I could draw or make sprite comics, but alas, I am too lazy.
