I bought, against my better judgment, a Star Trek video game.
Star Trek Legacy seduced me with promises of fleet logistics, space combat, and an opportunity to control the Federation's development.

The cheap harlot was also only 12 some odd bucks.

A fool I am. And a bad game she is. The 'logistics' are limited to choosing what class of ships your fleet of four is comprised of. The space combat is clumsy, and the fleet size is limited to four. The development of the Federation was apparently an outright lie, and you can only have four ships in your fleet. You can only have four ships in your fleet.

It is fun to fly a Borg Tactical Cube though... Fuckers wreck shit faster than you can say 'sweet zombie jebus on a pogo stick; it's the Borg!'

Hey everyone, I can't get internet access in my dorm while I'm at this base (stuck here for another two weeks), and the internet I can get typically has Lit and the Lit boards blocked. So I need to ask for a favor, if anyone is willing:

If you could copy-and-paste lit stories and email them to me at raguleader@gmail.com so I can get them when I'm on the public wifi and then read them in my dorm room when I get home, I'd appreciate it.

Actually, just in general, if you see me online on Yahoo Messenger (Raguleader) shoot me a line, or shoot me an email to say hi. I've got plenty of free time, I just can't always get online or hang out here.

I know I normally don't plaster things I'm going to get on here usually, but I'm really excited about this in particular because I had taken Violin practices for nearly 13 years. I grew out of my original ( and only) violin & since I moved in with CT, I haven't had the time or money to start practicing again! I was showing a video to Tromby a few days ago of a small part in my cousin's song that I preformed, and it made me miss the time I had practicing. I also realized how rusty I must be now. It's been almost 6 years since I've picked up a bow, and I want to start practicing again, this time anew- with an Electric Violin

Well, the marathon is over now, and I'm happy to report that they exceeded their goal of $6000! In fact, they said it was the most money they had raised of all their marathons, so we did good.
