The purpose of the NE gathering of Lit members is supposed
to be in the New England area, not in New Orleans! Too
bad New Orleans isn't in our region........

Maybe Boston?? Stamford/New Haven CT? Just
brainstorming.....

The town I came from is a lot smaller, so it is nice. Not too big, but it has an Old Navy and a Victoria's Secret, so all is not lost!

Maybe we should stay away from Boston because of the Big Dig! I have only been there once but the traffic frightened me!!!


How about a central place? I am not familiar enough to know which state is most central for all NE states.

Oh yeah....I've heard about the damned Big Dig!! My baby
sis went to BU......and my parents have to compete with
that for 4 years!

I'm thinking of a cental location....Sturbridge, Mass is real
nice.....esp. in the spring and fall.......its hard to say what
state though because there is no "central" spot really.....
but Sturbridge is near the borders of both Mass. and CT.
Boston would be ideal for a centralized location but its too
crazy at times there.

halfpipe in snowboarding tomorrow (sunday)......

What's really cool....a girl from my hometown here
is on the women's hockey team....I believe they start
playing on tuesday......Julie Chu from Fairfield, CT.....

I think that we should wait awhile before staging a get-together;
only because of the economy ($$ factor) and people's schedules.
Planning is key to this whole deal

I've been up to Sturbridge in the fall quite a few times (not
recently though) and its real pretty.....fall meaning around late sept/
october time........

Another place is New Haven, CT....only because they got a lot
of different places to go and eat, socialize, and chill........its a real
nice city esp. around the Yale Univ. area.
