I would be up for that! I don't know the Sturbridge area that well, it's usually a blur as I pull off the Pike on my way down to Hartford or NYC... But this could be fun

Why Sturbridge?

Since I am new to NE anyway, what is there to do in Sturbridge? I am open to travel cause I want to explore the area.

If we did meet there, what type of meeting place would we use?

Hiya Ebony.....
The location is just an idea that I threw out on the table for
now....nothing definite......but there is a lovely restaurant
up there called the Publick House (yes, that is the spelling)
in a colonial setting....real good food......I think they also have
an inn nearby......not sure about that though but I'm sure if
I get a chance I can look up stuff near there in the AAA Tourbook

I also suggested New Haven, CT......a nice city with lots to do,
good places to go eat, go for a drink, also coffee bars, etc. etc. etc.
I can even suggest a couple places myself......

Boston, while its in a way "central" in the New England region,
its a bit too crazy and a bit expensive.

I sure did watch the pairs Monday night......the Canadians
deserved the gold, god dam it!!!! You should check out
the discussion going on in my Olympic thread plus there's
a couple other threads floating around (all on the General
Board) about the Games....that's all we talked about at
work was that competition! Really horrible......bribery
might be involved......what's really sad is that the Cold War
has been over for a number of years now and one would
think this would never happen in terms of favoritism!

Full moon isn't until Feb. 27......but I know yesterday it
was a New Moon.......
I know, thank god it was resolved with no major
problems.....heard in our local paper this morning
(www.ctpost.com) that the former student is 24 y.o.,
a recent graduate, and it was a "personal thing" and
supposedly not connected w/ any terrorist stuff. I know
we'll find out more stuff in the days ahead...but one rumor
is that he couldn't find a job after he graduated from the
school......

I'm sure I could be convinced to make the trip down to New Haven. Where is the place you're talking about? The last time I was there was almost 10 years ago when I was thinking about going to college there, I'm sure it's changed a bit (or even if it hasn't, it was 10 years ago for a couple of days)
