Goldie, Christmas doesn't have to be extravagant.......it can be a small celebration and
renewal of hope......remember you have good friends here on Lit who care about you
very much, and also remember that the next day (any time of year really) can be a
better day........I know you've been through a lot but its important to think *positive*
and know that out there, there are those who are you friends (such as us here). :)

Right back at ya! The heavy rains definitely melted a LOT of the snow we had here
overnite, amazing! there's still some some left of course but when I went over to my
friend's house this afternoon to check on her cat and get the mail, the gravel driveway
that was covered in a thick sheet of snow/ice was completely melted away! And just
think yesterday I was nearly ice skating down that driveway....:eek:

loving my vacation from work his week. In Manchester NH for a few days.... love it up this way. Hope everyone had a wonderful Chirstmas and best wishes for a wonderful new year.

Glad you're enjoying your week off from work! :) I remember this time last year I had
this whole week off from work until right after New Year's Day; up at the group home
where I work our residents went away to winter camp and it was GREAT having that whole
week off! Don't have that luxury this week but at least I took a paid holiday for Xmas and
paid holiday for New Year's Day :D
 
Morning all. After yesterday's yucky weather up here, it is turning out to be a sunny day. Shame I have to get more school work done. Have a great day and enjoy the weekend.
