You could be neither too. Not everyone is a dom or sub.

If I had found this lifestyle in my 20s, I'm sure my life would be a lot different now. I had and still have all the submissive tendencies but at that age just didn't know what or who to turn to. At 59, a lot of the power exchange is now just a good fantasy even with my willing dominant partner. As a closet rope bunny, my body just can't handle what my mind wants at this point.
