I posted my first three chapters in BDSM and had some very weird comments from one or two guys who seemed to not understand the point of D/s relationships or fantasy scenarios whatsoever. Weird older dudes mad that the mistress was being "too cruel and degrading." Very strange. I just posted my fourth chapter in Fetish, and so far haven't gotten any of those comments, but maybe it's just random. Either way, the negative comments are worth a laugh. I've received mostly positivity, so whatever!

From what I've seen, the BDSM community can get really weird about portraying the life in a positive and healthy way. Many call you out when it's not-- which I get from a PR standpoint, but I don't understand from a moral one-- at least as long as the story is not glamorized as a persuasive argument to do that bad thing.

You got people who enjoy pretend abuse in real life complaining about pretend abuse to fictional characters. If we're making a moral judgement, only one of those has a zero percent chance to hurt anyone.

I posted mine in Fetish for this reason. They're a pretty chill crowd, just there's not a lot of them.
