New format getting to you?

Oh! I just changed mine to Aria Citrus and it looks pretty normal now. Except it's orange, which I'm not fond of, but at least everything is in its familiar place.

I logged out then logged back in and now it's back on default style. Thankfully, retro was SERIOUSLY bugging me.

I'm sure they're working on it - we used to have a lot more skins than this so they are probably just checking them for compatibility with the new version. I see the Xmas one is gone but surely they'll bring that back soon!

(Changed mine to Aria Chocolate, that's easier on the eyes.)

I'm using the liquid chocolate one and other than having to log in again, I'm not seeing anything different. I dont see ages on anyone or professions. I'm not sure that I like that whole last post blurb..but it still looks and acts like the same ole Lit

LOL, I have always had the avatars on the left, I can't use a skin that puts them on the top, it is too weird! haha!

The only one that I can put up with for longer than a second is the v bulletin one. Its close to the color scheme before but I still hate it.

I realize they wanted to make things better for us but shouldn't they have asked us if we wanted to change it? lol

When i want to write a post or a PM i dont' have the functions that will allow me to use a different font, or size or color...I can't even use any smiley's because there is none shown that i can even choose from. Anyone know how I can get those options back? Thanks.

Try checking in your Options, in the section called Miscellaneous Options. If the first one says Basic Editor, then that is the problem - just switch it and you should be fine! (If that's not it, then I dunno...)

Interesting... I can't get that skin and a few others to display. I'm currently looking at Aria Chocolate - Fixed simply because other than the Retro and Large Fonts skins, nothing else worked... and the contrast of this is killing my eyes. (No, I don't want to fiddle with my monitor settings, thank you.)

With a skin that includes "Chocolate" in the name, I'd expect brown to be the predominant color, but I see blue.

Something else interesting... I now have the vBulletin 3 Default Style displayed. Still not what I'm used to seeing, but it's less contrasty.

V bulletin works fairly well for me.

Now to make sure I don't see Avs or pics unless I'm without kids and WANT to . . .

And yes, I did have to log in all brand new before I could be me today.
