Don't get too carried away with complaints until Manu is finished editing the skins.

I like the Literotica Retro skin and right now it's pretty sick. No AVs and some of the icons are totally different. We all complained the last time there was a major upgrade and the Literotica Retro skin was what he came up with to be as close as possible to the old version.

He'll do a good job with things. It will just take some time. That's the sad part of upgrading a site as large as this. And part of the problem is, the software company probably told him everything would be seamless and easy for this upgrade. Trust me...that's always the line those people use. Trouble is, after you do the upgrade, it's easier to fix the glitches than it is to go backwards.

And, I'll bet there are some new features (like the 500 PM messages upgrade) that we will all enjoy. I'm the worst, when it comes to change. I HATE IT! But, it's a necessary evil we have to live with. Be patient. In the mean time, pick a different skin to use, if yours is "under construction" like Literotica Retro is. Maybe the space limit increases with a higher number of posts.. maybe not. I don't know.


I checked and I have a limit of 500 now too. I rarely use and rarely receive PMs here. Maybe I can sell the extra space.

Log out and then log back in and see if the limit changes for you, ecstaticsub?

Mmm, I think it does have something to do with number of posts correlating with amount of PM storage.

I have 250, while my devious Alt who has been here much longer and who has far more posts than I, is at 500.

You don't have a default skin setup in your profile? It's setup in the USER CP, like where your signature is set up. Pick a skin that doesn't have (upgrading) beside it. The skins that have (upgrading) beside the name are still in the process of upgrading and will act strange until finished.

I use the Literotica Retro skin and it is one of the (upgrading) skins. Actually, the Literotica Retro skin was made by Nanu after the last upgrade changed things so much. Why do these software companies change things so much? I know...because they can.

I think it might work that way, because I only have 150 still...even after I logged off and back in again.

I've never used anything else.. that I can actually recall.
It seems virtually bugproof .. and easiest on the eyes/easiest to read (of the choices available that it, with non that seem entirely flawless aka suited 100% to my taste) ... to me.

Definitely odd. Maybe we are being added extra PM storage via alphabetical order or some other odd technique.

I don't know where anything is. All skins seem to put the information in a different spot. Shit...one skin, I couldn't even find my PM box.

DVS's issues with choosing a skin and his comments on how different features are located in different ways....... makes me wonder if the amount of PM space is tied to which skin is in use??

I either just found a newly added feature.. or just never noticed it before/never needed it/never used it etc .....tuff one to explain though.

I'll try my best:
I highlighted text, selected from color choices for text.
Highlighted next 10 lines and bolded them.
Highlighted next few lines, clicked on the "A" icon that produces the drop down list for selecting color for text and BAM!!
Text was automatically colored to last choice of color..... I didn't need to tell it again to use teal.
Interesting.. we get automatic color and a new spanky smiley, but only a limit of 10 for poll options. Do they KNOW how long we have been in neeeeeeeed of more poll options!!!???! Heh.
