i was having issues with religion in general and my spirituality ended up suffering. having recently started going to a uu church, i realized that there are some religious people that are tolerant of others. I just feel like i have spiritual fellowship with nice people now and i was afraid to try again because all my experience with religion was in a rather bigoted church.

Wow, I'm glad to hear it was so beneficial for you. I grew up in the UU church and never did understand how many world religions could be as intolerant as they sometimes can be.

I don't usually post personal threads like this, but I wanted to mention that I got a great new job I've really been wanting. Hooray! More information here.

So what language do you interpret? Just wondering. I am in the process of getting my certification in spanish translation.

If anybody's wondering where I've been, this new job has been keeping me really busy! I used to have plenty of time to sit around in front of the computer, but lately I've been working all day every day and then I'm exhausted when I get home, and it's all I can do to check my e-mail (I can't check it during the day). The current school semester will be ending soon, though, and I'm not planning to take a class next semester, so hopefully that will free up some of my time. I'll also be getting used to my new schedule and will be better able to manage my time. So don't give up on me yet! I'm still your friendly mod just like always, and I'm still an eager participant in the forum...I just won't be around a whole lot for a while.
