I just had a story tick over the 200,000 view count for the first time! I am unreasonably smug about this...

Backyard MILF Ch. 04 is a finale of a short series and despite the tendency for series readership to drop off after the first chapter, it has many tens of thousands more views that even the first. I guess it is a stand-alone perfect storm of tags: MILF, Exhibitionism, Peeping, and FMF...

That’s when you know you’ve written something really good—or at least something that truly resonates with your readers. I’ve had a couple of late series chapters that have done the same—it’s rewarding.

I reached Lit’s top 280 most followed author list in December @ 2500 followers. I’ve since moved up 50 spots on the list and today I crested 3000 followers. Pretty cool.

I just had a story hit a 4.73 rating with 473 votes. (I'm not sure it counts as a "milestone," and its numerological satisfaction will evaporate the instant it gains any future voters . . . but — like the odometer hitting 123456 — I'm enjoying it while I can.)

The other day Fun with Fingers received its 100th vote. That's not the most a story of mine has received, even outside I&T, but it's been a slow and steady progression over a little more than a year to get there.

This was also my first non-fantasy story of any kind, so it will also hold a special place in my heart. That said, I'm a little worried about going back and reading it.

Of my first four stories here, one got an H, two never came close, and one has spent seven years over 4.4 without ever once reaching 4.5. I know how it can make your brain fry to focus too much on the numbers. That first H does feel good, though. Keep at it!
