Miranda

She looked at Jacob. She wished she could see his eyes, the contacts were interesting, but she wondered what color they really were.
"I don't work, actually. My family had a lot of money, and when my parents passed away, it was all left to me, since i'm an only child."
She lied, of course. It was true that she didn't work, but the money didn't come from her parents... she had earned it, every way possible throughout her long life.... mostly ways she wanted to forget.
"As for hobbies, I paint. I spend most of my time doing that. And taking pictures. And you? What do you do? What are your hobbies? And more importantly, what color are your eyes?"

He listened, his mind working as she spoke. She was an heiress, so that story wouldn't work with her, he went with his next best.

"I don't have to work much either actually, my parents weren't rich, but my grandfather left me a little money, and I made some good investments with it. Hopefully I'll be able to leave my children the kind of legacy your parents left you.." Children... A terrible thought, he'd have to watch them grow old and die before his very eyes.. No, best not to go down one of those depressing routes right now.

"For hobbies, I write some, short stories, poetry.. I play guitar.. A lot of times I just go on these long walks, I was on one of them when I met you, I left Ohio a few weeks ago, and here I am." He smiled, "As to my eyes.."

He turned his back to her for a moment and removed his contacts. He blinked a few times as the protection they provided him from the sun was gone, and then turned to look at her. His eyes were dark brown, almost black where the shadow of his brow fell across them, with several thin stripes of honey-color radiating out from his rather large pupils like spokes on a wheel.

Billy was thinking of things to come as well as things that might be. Totally unaware of where he was going. He walked out into the middle of traffic and didn't even notice, cars honked thier horns at him. Billy snapped his head up and realized where he was, he smirked and continued walking across the street, ignoring the cars. "Get out of the way asshole!!!!" some guy was yelling at him. "Road rage...." thought Billy. People should walk more.
The guy that had yelled at him had gotten out of his car and was standing infront of Billy's path. Billy shook his head and continued walking towards the man. He was yelling and swearing at Billy, as if Billy cared. Billy decked him and layed him out on top of his own car.
Billy kept on walking.......
Before he knew it Billy was at the beach. "Oh just great..." Billy sensed that Jacob was nearby. And there was another.... It was Miranda. things were looking interesting now.

Miranda

His eyes were beautiful, and incredibly unique.
"Why do you wear contacts with eyes like that? They're goreous. I'm jealous." She smiled, somewhat shyly, "I could stare at them for ages."
They'd be much better than a lot of the things she had seen through out her long life.

Luda is your typical bad boy, currently dressed in streetwise hip-hop gear, he likes every woman he can get his hands on.
He is everything he seems:
shallow, ignorant but extremly popular with the ladies( or bitches as he prefers to call them.

OOC: okay I'm back from christmas vacation........ Nothing to worry about.

IC: Billy looked out at the beach. The warm sun was cascading over his face, his shades protecting his sensitive eyes. He smiled, and sighed as he looked out at the beach. "Look at these people... Not a care in the world." He thought to himself
Billy just wondered to himself where was his lady love. Left to right right to left he searched and than he saw her......"Miranda" she was sitting in the sand a picture of pure beauty. Of course Jacob was in the picture but, not for long.
Billy slowly approached and let his shadow fall over Miranda.

Miranda turned.
"Oh!" she smiled. she was in a good mood. "Hi." she glanced back at Jacob. He was frowning. her smile faded. "do you two know each other?"
Jacob was about to answer when Andrea came running out of the water.
"Brrr!" she screamed. "That was COLD!" ANdrea pulled her sweater back on. SHe paused and scanned the faces. "What's wrong here?" she walked towards the newcomer. "I'm Andrea. Who are you? " she was always straight to the point.

Not dead, just asleep

OOC: Sorry, I've been kinda busy lately...

IC:
Jacob tucked his hands into the pockets of his coat, standing slowly to face Billy, Miranda and Amanda forgotten.

"Hello Billy." His hand tightened on the pistol in his pocket, not nearly enough to kill his old friend, but enough to give him pause. Jacob was sure Billy had a gun or a knife within easy reach as well. "Haven't seen you in quite a while.."

"Hey Jaco!! Long time no see..." Billy smiled and bent low towards Miranda. "Hello. My name is Billy" As he said his name he looked towards the girl who had just emerged from the water. Her sweater was hugging her wet body in the most provocative way.
Billy could sense that Jacob was tense. Maybe even a little nervous. Billy looked at him for another moment and than stood and turned his back to Jacob. "Let's see if he's got it in him" Billy thought, as he exposed his back to Jacob.
"Andrea! that's a beautiful name. Might I ask? Where it is that two beautiful creatures as yourselves, don't have a whole beach of admirers" He then smiled and took her hand gently bringing a lone delicate kiss to her knuckle.
Andrea blushed at the attention she was receiving from the stranger. "He's kinda cute in a rugged kind of wa....... wait... I have a boyfriend" she thought to herself. "Well it won't hurt to look" she thought as she smiled at him.
Jacob had not made a move on him yet but, Billy knew better than to let his guard down. He'd keep his knife in easy reach.
"I know that I've just met you ladies..... But I'd like to invite you all to a club that a friend of mine has just opened. It's called Destiny! I'm really a nice guy just ask Jaco!" Billy smiled as he put Jacob on the spot.
Andrea perked up, she had heard of Destiny. It was the hardest club to get into, you just had to know somebody. "Besides, it would help cheer up Miranda" she thought to herself.

Andrea

Andrea bit her lip. 'Destiny' she thought! Wicked!
"Come on Mir! It'll be wicked!" she pulled her up from the ground. "Chris!" she yelled playfully. "Get your butt over here! we're going clubbing!" Andrea saw the look of doubt on Miranda's face.
"I don't know" she said, and looked at Jacob. Miranda thought he looked very tense. But andrea's excitement was catching, and she couldn't help but smile. She reached out and touched his arm.
"It might be fun."
Andrea pulled on her slightly damp pants and looked at Billy.
"Hey," she said. "can I really go dressed like this?"

Billy

" I wouldn't have it any other way." said Billy as he watched Andrea slither into her pants. He smiled at Jacob and than towards Miranda. She looked....... mournful....
Billy turned away and pushed the speed dial on his cell phone, instantly calling up his friend Murry.

** Now Murry isn't the best criminal on the planet but, damn if he doesn't know what people like in clubs. Murry is your typical runt. He's 5'5 slightly balding and always sweaty. But when dressed up he's a sight.**

" Murry!!! It's Billy! Yeah how's it goin!? Hey man look... I'm coming over to your club tonight..... Whoa whoa whoa..... this isn't a buisness call. I'm coming over to relax and I'm bringing some..'friends' with me. Send a car to..." Billy talked on as the others grabbed their stuff.
Andrea was very excited as she watched Billy pace back and forth talking on his phone. She couldn't believe she was going to be going to Destiny. Chris came over wondering who the new guy was.
Billy got off the phone "Well it's all set.... a limo will pick us up in ten minutes." Again Billy smiled as he looked at Jacob.

Some of Andrea's energy was rubbing off onto Miranda. Miranda glanced back at Jacob. He was silent and still, his eyes unfocused into the distance. She wondered what he was thinking. . . .
"You are coming, right?" she said to him.
