I try... unless in the middle of a PM or post I like to reply quickly rather than keep folks waiting and wondering if I'll answer at all.

hi, i'm fairly new on literotica but have observed a lot on the stories and the threads boards. i've never done roleplaying but would like to try. how does one go about starting off without holding everyone else up?

i suppose i should go read the sticky notes.

Hello and welcome, especially if you're truly wanton.. *Grin and chuckling*

Read Hecate's Guide up at the top and from there on it's a matter of finding a story not marked closed that you'd like join. Develope a character bio and post it as OOC (out of character.. IC is in character) and ask if you may join in.

I know that "OOC: Submitting a story..." is seeking females to enroll. *s
I'll be posting the start of the story later today, but the OOC is where we can chat about it and where I've asked those interested to post their character intros.

Also "Hot, Wet Planet is seeking more female space ship crash survivors if that would interest you.

Feel free to PM and ask any questions. I'll be glad to help if I can.

Hi and Welcome to all the newbies just arrived.

Enjoy your stay and have fun.

Feel free to stop by the China Pearl Inn, the China Pearl Tea and Bath house or Rick's Rooftop for a great way to mingle with other writers.

Don't worry about some of the guys.. they're a bunch of sweeties.... and devils.

Welcome to Lit and I am Landi

I hope you enjoy yourself at Lit and stop in and check out the variety of stories available. Jumping in can lead to an adventure of a lifetime.

I myself have been here for a whole month.. ( gee has it been a month already) Plus I recmmend to getting to know your post partners... I stay in touch with quite a few of mine.

Come and check out the assorted threads available or perhaps jump in on one of your own. Either way you are bound to have fun and brighten your day, who knows you might find me.

 and welcome to the fun. ;)

Well Landi - some of us are sweeties!

Really a delightful group- both men and women, and many are SO creative and imaginative.

Hmmmm, never watched the showk, but how about a Guest Demon who sucks the vitality out of his sexual prey as they climax repeatedly until they're dead and a 'dissicated husk' but there are no marks ever found?
Fitting?

All I have to say is welcome to lit. well that and this. The guys are sweet and respect limits I have my favs picked out so far. Ive been lucky enough to post opposite Aristo and Pheonix both of them are wonderful partners. If you wanna check out a story I just opened up "Knights and Harlots/Ladies and Scamps" feel free to drop on in and most of us dont mind if you PM with problems or questions. lol ya one sentence. anyways just have fun and throw a lil of yourself into your characters. It makes them a bit more intreguing (sp?)

new to lit... looking to meet friends

Joined a while ago and have been reading but can't seem to find a roleplay that I think suits me.

Hoping to make a few friends and get more involved but don't really know where to start...

Have thought of some thread ideas, but they seem to be already taken, (or closed!) by the time I get to posting a casting call...

interesting stories

Hi and welcome. *S*

What type of stories interest you?

I'm interested in reality, so the fantasy and evil and dragon and elf and vampire and spaceship and historical bodice ripper thing doesn't really work for me. I like to write as people that aren't like me in RL but I always tend to show up in my writing... somehow....

I don't need to be the "star" of the thread, but I need to be noticed and have my posts responded to in a thoughtful and creative way. I want to be surprised, and I want to be thrilled.

I'd be interested in an out of town lover's reunion (someone did a Same Time Next Year, which was the idea I had for that... the old Alan Alda movie...) I'd be interested in a teacher/student thing... or a waitress meeting a customer thing... like a ton of other people on the boards who got there first.... etc. etc.

Hi and Welcome Maybe So.

Feel free to pm any writer that you may wish to write with.

Those types of threads you mentioned sound quite interesting to me.

Feel free to call me Henry, its a lot easier.

Have fun and enjoy your stay here.

Hi Henry

Thank you for the welcome. I guess i am shy about PMing writers whose style I like because they tend to look sort of over-extended to me.

Maybe So. i can understand that.

If there is a writer you would like to write with that is a good way to get the ball rolling.

Also you can tell other writers a little about yourself here so that can help too.

What do you supposee people might want to know about me... like what would pique interest...?

Anything you feel comfortable telling other writers.

Some writers look at profiles and can get a good feel that way.

hey everyone

I am new to the boards, but have been kicking around litchat for a little while now. Always looking for a new frontier, new experiences, and new ground to cover.

So far, I have met some of the nicest men and women in chat, and on lit in general. Very newbie-friendly. So thank you for making this thread, and thank you all for welcoming us newbies with open arms, and occasionally other appendages.

Quick facts, im 6'3, about 225lbs., have short brown hair, and green eyes, and sport a few tattoos. As the name suggests, I am into the D/s lifestyle, and welcome any intelligent, witty, open-minded conversation on almost any topic.

Again, thank you, and thank the Lit community for taking it easy on us.
:p

Welcome to the Lit SRP Family from a fellow EPE Lifestyler living in FL. *s

May I suggest reading Hecate's Guide up above where you just posted CM. It's a good general guide.

Any story or thread not marked "Closed" is generally open to new writers and their characters so look around after you've read Hecate's and when you find an open one make up a character bio and either PM it to the starter or Post it as OOC (out of character) and ask if you can join in.

You'll see OOC threads that are like chat rooms and those with story names. The story named ones deal with that specific storyline.

Any assistance I can give you just ask away Brother. *s

Hello

Well I guess this is the next step

first thanks Landi for telling my hubby about this site and he promptly enrolled me in school.... I shall get even over that

I am glad to get involved in a group that feel free to write about those subjects that our folks hedged around cause they didn't know better.

Of course I do look forward to meeting more of the guru's... *slaps hubby* and getting a better feel to writing erotic fiction and nonfiction

hugs and kisses Cloe

Just wanted to wish all Newbies welcome to Lit and SRP.

Cloe .. Hugs .. I couldn't resist the opportunity to be your 'first' guru

CM .. I'm sure you will find what you are searching for.

Maybe so ... I'm sure you will be a 'star' of a thread before long.

And don't worry we don't bite here ... unless you want us too ;)
