Welcome to the Lit SRP, the perfect place to air out your fantasies and exercise your imagination. *G*
If I can be of assistance PM and let me know and I'll do my best.
A suggestion and a word of warning for you Torry.
Suggestion is to keep your PM mailbox cleaned out as it's small. Be sure to clear all three folders and do each "from: the beginning" which you'll find in the drop down upper left side. Otherwise some PM's may be 'hidden' by the program and you won't realize it.
The warning is: This can become very addicitive, be warned. *G*
My name is LdyRozes. Im 21 and I love it ... and while I look like I have written a few posts already I have not really gotten introduced to the gang.. I enjoy reading alot of the threads here more than I do the stories sometimes... Well I really love this site and I have only been on since December ... I love roleplay and I love making up stories... and looks around making sure no one notices.. then whispers in your ear... Im also a DnD fanatic going through withdrawel symptoms...
stands up smoothing out her long dress.... me ohh well I have a very active imagination and I love to use it...
I also wanted to say that PP is an awsome roleplayer with a great imagination. would love to get in on a thread your working on sometime...
okay hope to see you guys arounds.. Kay luv you bye bye
As I'm in Flordia, where it's a very comfortable low 70's and I'm sitting around comfortably nakie.. *L*.. Why thanks so very much for your very kind words Roze and as formal a seated bow as I can make in my current state of 'dress', or should that be 'undress'.
If I can be of any assitance at all just PM and ask Roze. I'll do my best to help out if you need it. *S
Do read the 'sticky' and Hecate's Guide. Also take a look at the advice I've given above your entry post and my warning about this being soooo addictive. *L
BTW, I've just bought "Neverwinter Nights" Gold edition and have begun playing it as a Ranger character. *BG
No need to be embarrassed about being a D&D fanatic. I am also, although I'll be forced to admit that I use the old hardback first edition goodies for my gaming.
hey thanks *wipes the glow off her forehead* thats great .. I have an online post I kind of started hoping to play vicariously through that .. ckeck it out its on the ORP its called the kingdom of chaos..
The major problem I've seen in rpg'ing online is when combat happens. The few times I've tried an online game it's either degenerated into the childhood, "I shot you." "No you didn't I ducked behind the tree." type of thing or each posted move, in sword play for instance, is countered. The randomness and impartiality of the dice rolls just isn't there.
Yes that is somthing I noticed as well... Its jsut not the same as dice rolling.. at least I still have a way to continue my plot in the story I was writing for a game I dmed.. my college buddies never could understand that I was one of the few girls that actually enjoyed the rules and knew them quite well when they were playing ... they always told me .. man breasts adn brains .. great combo in a woman .. I thought it was a great compliment ..
Years ago a group of rp'ing friends and I combined all of the elements we liked the most from several gaming systems and wrote our own. We called it United Game Masters Universal Gaming System. Published and sold some, but no funding so it died off, sadly. It was skill based. You didn't get better at a skill unless you used it and made successful rolls on the skill. Going up a level just allowed more hit points and that's all.
thats a really good theory you got .. maybe you should try publishing again ... now with all the gamming getting more popular.. you could endup becomming millionaire over night... *wink wink nudge nudge say no more say no more*
Welcome to this side of the tracks. I hope that you enjoy yourself here and most importantly have fun. I hope that I get to write something with you and see what kind of imagination you have. The last thing that I can say is good luck.
thanks thats a really nice thing to say .. I must say people on the SRP are a little more friendly then the ORP.. but I still like to post on both ... if you want to read some of my post or get a glimpse of my imagination .. check out the threads ive started in both forums.. Kings of Chaos (ORP) and mystic world(SRP) I must say though its a little more difficult to write in SRP...
It is at that. The SRP really lets you let rip with your imagination but it is a little bit difficult to write which is the reason why I write here. It challenges me a little bit more and I need the challenge.
You're welcome landi. Actually I sent her to bad girls av, but lost the actual address in moving the old hard drive. Can't find my 'favorites' on it now.
