I only joined just recently. But I like building stories, being creative, just having fun. But you'll find that I like to take things slow, develop chemistry with other characters before getting hot and heavy. I forget who said this, but I heard a writer once compare writing to a striptease. You can't reveal too much at the beginning. You show a leg, you show a thigh, little by little. That's kind of my approach.

Hi there! I'm 32, living in Santa Cruz, CA, USA, and am about to go on a road trip (with my laptop) to see the world a bit more. I've done some professional editing and writing for a (defunct) tourist publication and am working on four erotic stories right now. Three of them are short stories, one of which I've finished and have written to a couple of editors about editing... still waiting for a response... and one of them is much, much longer. About 120 pages so far, and I'm only about a fourth of the way through the story. It isn't really THAT long; I reread it recently and found that I was repeating things a lot and saying a bunch of unnecessary(sp?) stuff.

My favorite erotic books are the Man with a Maid series and... so far I haven't found anything comperable.

I am currently using WordPad, which sucks because it doesn't have a spellchecker option. Fortunately, my mastery of the language is such that I don't make spelling mistakes very otfen.

Oh, and I've made a few submissions to CHYOO, but don't have the energy to keep up with some of the other authors in many of the stories. Or to read 32 straight threads in order to tack something on the end.
