Advice about nipple piercing. How does it feel againt your shirt? Did it give you all day arousal?

Comming from a woman. You tend to get a woo hoo feeling from it rubbing just right against the fabric. It's not an all day arousal but when it does happen it gives you a smile!

i've had mine done twice, the first time i had to take them out cause the guy i was dating at the time was a little rough =/ the second time one got semi-pulled out and i took the other one out cause i felt uneven. it's kinda cool and fun, i do miss them but i wouldn't do it again. they're kinda a pain. if ya get em done remember to wear a bra in the car, seatbelt isn't always yer friend ;p i found that after gettin 'em pierced they were a lot more sensitive (even after the rings were removed) aparently it can go the opposite way too though. my advice would be just think it through and make sure it's something you want to do and it's something your doing for yourself. and know your piercer! don't be scared to let him know if your nipples arent fully hard when he does the piercing cause they can come out crooked if they're done wrong.

good luck to ya,
hope this helps ya :)

My wife is thinking about getting a nipple piercing. Will her nipple be up all the time?

nope, pierced doesn't mean perpetually hard nipple.

Also, I've been in a tattoo/piercing shop cuz my buddy owns one, and the piercer always had to issue a disclaimer: pierced nipples aren't for breast feeding, even with the jewelry removed.

not sure why...unless the hole never fully heals and could allow breast milk to get trapped and get all infected....yuck.

google could probably get you the answer on that one though.

Breastfeeding

I was informed by my piercer that nipple piercings won't interfear with breastfeeding so long as there are no complications to healing and you take them out when you do it. I went searching on Google and found this from BME.

Breastfeeding

In general, having pierced nipples does not affect breastfeeding unless something goes wrong in your healing (extreme scarring, mastitis, etc.). There are about twenty milk ducts that exit the nipple, and a single piercing should, in theory, do little to no damage to this system. That said, you should take the jewelry out while you're actually breastfeeding. If the jewelry is left in, it is possible for a bead to come loose and become swallowed or aspirated by the child.

However, there is a remote chance that an infection from a nipple piercing could damage milk ducts and jeopardize breastfeeding, even after the piercing is removed (see the mastitis entry as well). Certainly it's worth considering the risks. It's a remote chance, but when it comes to offering the best health for your child, many future parents will choose to draw the "better safe than sorry" line very far on the "safe" side.

You can always get them pierced afterwards!

lit's resident piercer extraordinaire is here....

in short:
1. no, your nipples don't stay erect continuously after getting pierced.
2. after a few months, the thrill of the shirt-rub settles down.
3. piercing doesn't interfere with breast-feeding, if there are no problems with infection, although jewellery should always be removed for feeding to eliminate choking hazards (your nipples have hundreds of holes for milk to come out of, not just one.)
4. your nipples do not have to be 'fully hard' to get a straight piercing - what you need is a much better piercer!

I had my nipples pierced horizontaly and verticaly, unfortunately i had to take the hors out as they were crooked. Have them marked while standing up, and take a friend to check them out and make sure they're straight.
Piercing does make them more sensitive, which makes you more aware of them and makes them hard easier. Try taping a cotton pad over your nipple for the first month, to reduce trauma and crusties.
Make sure your piercer measures your nipple soft/flat, otherwise the jewellery will be too small and it'll get nasty.
And be VERY CAREFULL playing with them for 6months at least. I've had my verts for 10 months, and they can still get crusty if played with too much. Not hot the morning after... And they do get very sensitive FAST.
Make sure your barbell's balls are screwed on tight, if you get bars and not rings. They shouldn't choke anyone, but realising someone's just swallowed it is very annoying.
bmezine.com is an excellent site for body mod info, have a look round there.

If you are looking for permant erect nipples you will need to have botox injections in them. Yes it is true and it does work and they should be sensitive afterwards. Then get a top-up every three months.

:)

The random shirt-rubbing excitement goes away after a couple of months.

You just get used to it.

I got my nipple pierced about two years ago, one only. The piercing itself definitely doesnt hurt, but it may make you a little squeamish in anticipation.

My friend and i went at the same time, and we swore an oath to abstain from all forms of violence and contact sport until they healed : P

Make sure you tell your piercer exactly how you want it done, and get it done somewhere clean and where the piercer has experience!

Soo... we had the piercing done, and for the first few hours you are ACUTELY aware of all sensation... i had to hold my Tshirt so the fabric wasnt brushing against my nipple, it was that intense!

We got in the car and put our seatbelts on without thinking at exactly the same time (YES it _BLOODY HURT_)... and we felt rather foolish :)

i've had mine done for a couple of months
we broke all the rules - my husband was sucking on them the next day!
really painful - but really sensitive too in a fantastic way
in the end he sucked them so much he ended up with a sore spot on the roof of his mouth
i find them more sensitive than before now
